FINAL DEBATE TOMORROW
The final debate between Governor Tom Corbett and challenger Tom Wolf will be Wednesday night at the studios of WTAE TV in Pittsburgh. The debate starts at 7pm, is set to last an hour and will be the final time the two face off before the November election. The debate is not scheduled on PCN TV. It is being carried by WITF and streaming on Pennlive.com.
Hillary Clinton will be in Philadelphia this Thursday to support the candidacy of Tom Wolf for Governor.

MEET THE PRESS BECOMES MEET THE FURNITURE
The new set of "Meet the Press". (Photo: Washington Post.com) I’m not good with change in routine. Mrs. LuLac will tell you that. My friends say that if the mob wanted to hit me, it would be easy. I am a man of routine. So this week when I DVRed “Meet The Press”, I saw Chuck Todd meandering around a huge set. He had a little coffee bar, he had a wall of fame, he had a panel desk and then he had a little two person set where he interviewed a subject as the panel in the background loomed. A friend says I’m jealous because my early days on WVIA TV had a bare bone set as well as my time at WYLN featured no bells and whistles. Nice but not a lot of room to go strolling in the park. I’m used to Lawrence Spivak, Bill Monroe and Tim Russert. Even David Gregory brought some gravitas.
I respect Chuck Todd as a reporter and political analyst. But if NBC thinks they are going to get people between the ages of 20 and 40 to tune into this, I’d don’t think that will happen. Unless of course they are looking for some cool furniture.
KAUFER CHALLENGES CIPRIANI TO DEBATE
Aaron Kaufer, the Republican candidate for state representative in the 120th District, has challenged Democrat Eileen Cipriani to a debate held by the League of Women Voters this October. Upon acceptance of this challenge, information will be released regarding the specific date, time and location of the debate.
“Debates are vital in having a well-informed voting populace,” Kaufer said. “This election represents two visions for our area, and I look forward to the opportunity of discussing my vision and what I hope to accomplish. I am confident that the voters of the 120th district are looking for new solutions to the issues our community faces today.”

Good reports on the debatres even though you have made it clear you are backing Wolf.
I also saw the Meet The Press program. Like he was talking to someone and then just started walking around. It was strange. Kind of like Laugh In but with no one standing around, but everybody planted waiting for him to take a seat.
Strange but it will grow on us. I think.
Hey Dave-
I'm undecided in the governors race. Who do you think I should vote for? Frankly I'm not too impressed with either candidate.
Personally I don't want to have to vote for a candidate that will "Grow on us." I don't like either one of the candidates for Gov. It's a shame we always have to settle for the lesser of the two evils. I'm strictly of the mindset of One Term and Out. Usually in the first year, you can pretty much see the direction a politician is going. By the end of the first term, I feel they won't make anything better in a second term. Take Barrack for example.
Just curious who you are supporting for governor?

10:55......... Can you think of even one reason why Corbett deserves any working person's vote? Corbett had the Senate and House with him as Re publican majority and did noting for the state. We took a horrible fall in job creation and his stubborn attitude toward the Affordable Health Care Act cost our state millions in federal funding. Apparently the hard line Republican philosophy that there is no need to help the working class is a good idea with you. Corbett and his gang see no need for affordable health care or closing the Donut Hole or eliminating the pre existing clause in insurance policies are all god ideas. Any working middle class person who votes for any Republican deserves what our do nothing Congress gives us as well as our Fracking Company state destroying our air, water and land. Please don't vote, spare Pennsylvania four more years of Corbett.
In response to several of the posts, there is no doubt that Wolf is the better choice. here is a simple fact to conceder, he built up a company and sold it and made huge money. A few years latter, the economy took a dive and the company got in trouble. Wolf bought it back and turned it around and is providing jobs. He walked the walked the walk while Corbett talked the talk. If people want to believe the BS ads Corbett is putting out then vote for him again and watch the steady decline in Pennsylvania. I plan to vote for a guy with a proven record and that's Tom Wolf.
My money is on Tom to win it all
