WHEN ELVIS MET NIXON
As I mentioned on WBRE TV, there is a movie coming out this spring from Amazon starring Kevin Spacey and Colin Hanks. Here is the trailer:
A few years ago my good friend Gort 42 linked Elvis not with a famous President but perhaps the most talented ballplayer who ever lived. The Babe. The Babe could also be linked with Ronald Reagan too because they both share the same birthday, February 6th.
Also during yesterday's show I referenced two songs that Elvis did after his comeback in 1968 that were more socially aware than some of his other hits. Everyone knew about "In The Ghetto" but here is the other song that might be less familiar but I think more powerful.
