You wait for the bus. It doesn’t come. The school said it did. Parents drive you to school.
A slight mishap.
On the way home, that’s when it gets interesting. The child was left on the bus while her parents and aunt waited for her. They even waited in two locations. The fact that the school district was “told” by the bus driver that the child was not on the bus is somewhat amazing given the child was on the bus.
When the parents called the district, reports are they were rude to them. I’m shocked some public employee even answer the phone over there! I’m also told the bus driver laughed when she realized the child was on the bus.
Mistakes happen. But my issue with the. School District employees and vendors are these people are in charge of children’s lives. To be rude and then laugh lik a goober is both unacceptable and in my mind a corrective action offense for the driver.
The nerve to laugh it off is disgraceful. But companies hire local yokels who are either too lazy to do their jobs or then laugh it off as a little mistake.
Then the comments of the boxer short commentators in the newspaper article on line is a disgrace too.
This story comes on the heels that Valley West will stop transporting day care students to centers because of the cost.
Lucky break for those kids!
The lackeys are among us and they are PAID by your Property tax dollars.
The vehicle said Senator Casey, Congressman Matt Cartwright and Governor Tom Wolf are all corrupt. Okay when you make an assertion like that, you usually have to have proof, no?
Not in the world of Diaper Don politics and his minions like Baby Bob!
Here’s my questions about the charges plastered on the vehicle.
1. Why are these three corrupt? Specifics please.
2. What investigations made you come to this conclusion and were these guys ever investigated?
3. What were the charges and what were the crimes?
4. When were they arrested? (Again familiar terrain for you!)
5. Were they indicted by a Magistrate?
6. Or Baby Bob were you just slinging the shit like all of your Trump-ites?>
Bolus has done good work in this community but it is a shame he has allowed himself to be taken in by the carnival barker who has him do his bidding against three men whose only crime seems to be that they are Democrats!
Casey and Cartwright (good guys) and Wolf (kind of not digging him lately) but think they honestly deserve better than having unproven charges thrown at them by an acolyte of Diaper Don.
Grow a set Baby Bob and quit slandering people.
The Republican tax reform package that was supposed to raise wages and spur hiring has instead funded a record stock buyback and dividend spree, benefiting investors and company executives over workers.
Diaper Don signed the bill in December last year, saying the corporate tax cut would make it favorable for companies to bring back into the U.S. cash stashed in foreign operations.
"More than 70 percent of this [tax cut] will be returned to workers," said White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders at a January press conference after the bill came into effect.
However, companies have instead used the extra cash to spend billions of dollars buying back their own stock, boosting the value of shares held by investors. Buybacks reduce the number of shares on the market, immediately increasing the value of the shares that investors already hold.
Stock repurchases hit nearly $190 billion in the first quarter for the S&P 500, according to preliminary results from S&P Dow Jones Indices. The last time that record was set was just before the Great Recession, when companies bought up almost $172 billion of buybacks.
Compounding the issue is a recent study by the Office of SEC Commissioner Robert Jackson that found that a stock buyback announcement often leads to a short-term stock price pop, which corporate insiders use to cash out
So when Diaper Don is run out on the rails, resigns or is taken out in chains, poor Pence or a Democrat will inherit the same near collapse that happened in 2008. Then the REPUBLICAN party leaders will blame the Democrats!
Fools.
