FLOYD GONE ONE WEEK....NARY A MENTION FROM TRUMP TODAY

Just a friendly reminder. It is one week ago today that George Floyd was killed by a policeman. That lead to peaceful protests and some horrendous looting and bad acts by those who want you to remember the violence instead of the peace this man enjoyed before last Monday night.
I feel compelled to remind anyone out there. G-E-O-R-G-E
F-L-O-Y-D.
Apparently after listening to the President tonight I figured somebody should mention his name because Trump sure as hell didn't!
And how 'bout that bible huh? Reminds me of something my father told me years ago, "When they tell you how much they love God and you and then show ya a Bible they happen to have with them, put your hand on your wallet and never, ever turn your back on them!"

CNN @ 40

Forty years ago The Cable News Network was launched by Ted Turner. It was the first 24-hour news channel. The U.S.-based network launched at 6:00 p.m. Eastern Time from Atlanta with an original staff of 170 employees, and 130 more in bureaus in Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, New York City, San Francisco and Washington, D.C. The inaugural broadcast on the channel was an introduction by Ted Turner. Following the introduction and a pre-recorded version of "The Star-Spangled Banner" performed by three military bands, the husband and wife team of Dave Walker and Lois Hart anchored the channel's first newscast at 6:05 with a live report from Fort Wayne, Indiana, about reaction there to the wounding of civil rights leader Vernon Jordan. Among the first segments was a videotaped interview with then-President Jimmy Carter by Daniel Schorr. At the beginning, CNN was available to two million households that had cable television and whose provider carried the channel.
