The LuLac Edition #4, 734, May 6th, 2020
LULAC @ 16
It was 16 years ago today that The LuLac Political Letter first went on line. Through the years we've covered 4 Presidents, three Pennsylvania Governors, and many public officials locally that have been in the news.
We've gone from flip phones to cell phones, presented numerous public forums with live human beings to being on a thing called Zoom.
With Pop Culture, we've seen it all from Figit Spinners to anyone who had the money hurling into space. We went from comics to memes.
We produced over 4730 Editions, reached 1.7 million hits, with the majority coming from The U.S. Canada and London.
Our most popular features are the Thursday edition, "Maybe I'm Amazed" our year in review including "Moving On"and "13 Questions".
We were absent three times, in 2008 when I was battling cancer, 2019 for a new cornea and this year when I got a new knee. It was a total of maybe 33 days.
What started out as a promotional vehicle for my first book, "A Radio Story" has thankfully become a reading habit for many and a daily task for me that was totally unexpected when we launched.
That stated, the tasks (with replacement parts) go on with the grace of providence, and good health as we go on to year number 17.
Thanks to all for your support, criticism (especially that because we learn from it) and your attention.
