Jessica McClay WINS….
And here is how she did it . Her campaign was a broad based enterprise that included people who recognize that a successor to Eddie Day Pashinski must have a skill set that meets the requirement of the job. Her funds come from the many and not just the few or friendly. Her recognition of what people need from her in Harrisburg came from the hundreds of face to face meetings with voters since launching her campaign. In my vast experience in politics, some wins, some losses, one thing that cannot be denied is the campaign has to be about the people. I don’t know if I stole this from Marty Flynn or he stole it from me. But campaigns are not about show horses but work horses.
Take John Joseph Bryan and Patty Ungvarsky. John posted over 100 signs for Jessica and Patty drove 100 miles to stand in the hot sun Tuesday and work for McClay.
Then there is the family of McClay generations who made this happen.
The campaign manager as well as the support from Mayor Brown, Eddie Day Pashinski, and the people who value education, dedication and experience made it so.
Without delay…on to November with Jessica McClay
