QUESTIONS

PRESIDENT


KAMALA HARRIS: Can America elect a woman President of mixed ethnic backgrounds who succeeds a consequential President who didn’t get enough credit for his accomplishments?

Will she join the ranks of only two Vice Presidents (Van Buren and Bush 41) who ascended to the office immediately after their predecessors?

DONALD TRUMP:  Will the voters accept his behavior in a trade off for what they remember as a good economy and chaotic government?

Will he join only Grover Cleveland  the 222nd and 24th President) as the only other person who won the White House back after losing it in the previous cycle?

 

SENATOR


BOB CASEY: Will Casey, the only three term Senator in the state’s history survive the onslaught of corporate money going against him?

Can the Casey campaign withstand the people who believe that there should be term limits and legislative longevity is not in their own interests? 


DAVE MCCORMICK: Can McCormick gain the confidence of those voters who feel they should have a representative living in the state?  

Will McCormick offset the strong women’s vote regarding his stance on Women’s reproductive rights?

CONGRESS  8th DISTRICT


MATT CARTWRIGHT: Can Matt Cartwright withstand the avalanche of political ads against him? Cartwright has had 6 terms, and this can be his toughest race,

Will votes in the 8th trade in Cartwright who is the third ranking member on the Appropriations committee with substantial clout that he has used to help the district for a rookie?

ROB BRESNAHAN: Can Bresnahan break the streak of wins by the incumbent who was voted as one of the top bipartisan members of Congress?

If elected, will Bresnahan be for the interests of the district or will he fall in line with the MAGA speaker Mike Johnson?

CONGRESS 9th DISTRICT


AMANDA WALDMAN: Will Waldman be able to break the hold the Republicans have on this red district?

Can the voters in this district realize that the incumbent even with a Republican House has virtually done nothing to help the district?

DAN MEUSER: Will Meuser’s legislation Prioritizing Economic Growth Over Woke Policies Act resonate with voters in this red district?

Will his voters realize that he voted against in the infrastructure bill that included improvements in the internet for these areas?

AUDITOR GENERAL


MALCOLM KENYATTA: Will Kenyatta, a former Legislator and Senate candidate get enough support in the Philadelphia area to overcome the strong hold the GOP has on the rural areas of the state?

Will voters hold it against Kenyata that he is not only running for this office but also for his state representative seat?

TIM DEFOOR Can Tim who has had a low profile have the individual power of personality to prevail against the younger generation of Kenyata?

Will DeFoor be able to take advantage of the new registration numbers of Independents to add to his GOP base?

TREASURER


ERIN McCLELLAND: Can she overcome the name recognition and veteran’s status of her opponent?

Will she be able to overcome the snub of her by Governor Josh Shapiro as well as the endorsements of some unions by unions like LiUNA?

STACEY GERRITTY: Will voters give her another term as they did with past officials like Barbara Hafer?

Can Democratic and Independent voters value the bi partisan approach se took to her job as State Treasurer?

ATTORNEY GENERAL


EUGENE DePASQUALE: Can the past Auditor General make the case that he can run the Attorney General’s office even though he hasn’t been in court for years?

Will DePASQUALE’S past run for Congress paint him as a perennial office seeker or a true public servant?

DAVID SUNDAY: Can a District Attorney from the center of the state connect with criminal issues in the state’s two largest Democratic cities in fighting crime?

Will Sunday’s early advertising in the summer give him more name recognition to counter that of his opponent?

JIM HADDOCK: Will Jim Haddock be able to overcome the onslaught of negative advertising from his out-of-town funded opponent?

Will Haddock’s relationship with the Governor (who produced a great ad for him) as well as his legislative successes give him an opportunity to become a multi term rep in the mold of the late Tom Tigue and Transportation Secretary Mie Carroll?

McCAYLA KATHIO: Can the young Kathio make inroads into the governmental experience of her opponent in the ins of the voters?

Will Kathio’s family reputation give her an edge in the Greater Pittston area that is predominately Democratic?

STATE REPRESENTATIVE


119th

MEGAN KOCHER: Can Kocher a young Democratic contender meld the Democratic collation with Independents to overtake her opponent? 

Will the number of women voters give her an extra push in this race along with the substantial help of the Democratic state committee?

ALEC RYNCAVAGE: Will Ryncavage be able to deal with the migration of women voters to a female candidate?

Ryncavage’s targeted events while in office, such as the Senior Citizen’s Expo, will that give him a leg up in this race for re-election?

120TH


FERN LEARED: Will her nonstop campaign since last fall pay off for this energetic Democratic candidate that has attended virtually every event in the district and will voters appreciate her work on at the national level for health care concerning special needs situations?

Will the lack of early financial support from the Democratic State party hurt her efforts? 

BRENDA PUGH: Can she overcome the tenacious and persistent campaign of her opponent?  

While the endorsement of multi term incumbent Aaron Kaufer helps her will the bitter primary she had with Luzerne County Councilwoman Lee Ann McDermott offset that?

EDDIE DAY PASHINSKI: Will the voters of the 120th give Pashinski the send off her so richly deserves after these last 18 years?

Will Pashinski be hurt in any way by the out-of-town money thrown at him to fund his opponent?

DINO DISLER: Will an unknown senior citizen funded by an out-of-town billionaire have a chance in this district?

Can Disler articulate how he can actually change things as a rookie member of the Legislature?
