HEY PROTESTORS, SHUT OFF THE STUPID BUTTON

Today the great Democratic Women of Lackawanna County hosted a brunch reception for former Senator Bob Casey and former Congressman Matt Cartwright. A few hundred people joined in to celebrate the good character of the men, their leadership and all the things they did for the non millionaires (uh the majority of people in the Lu and the Lac.

In Edition #5, 263, we’ll give you a wrap up of the program and the invited guests.  

But let me introduce you to the uninvited guests.

These three were out in full force protesting Gaza. One was yelling that Cartwright lost his election because he was promoting genocide just by being a Democrat. As a candidate both he and Bob Casey were shouted down at campaign appearances. The Bullhorn bullies made it their business to stop the candidates freedom of speech.

Now these numbskulls DIDN’T protest Hamas for KILLING babies or KILLING 1100 innocent concert goers who were KILLED by Hamas. One would think their argument would be with THEM and NOT two guys from NEPA who to my knowledge haven’t even landed a punch on Anyone in their lifetime.

But here’s the kicker. Casey and Cartwright no longer have offices in the Capitol or locally. What the hell are they going to do about it? What gain, intellectually or emotionally could be met by protesting essential a retirement event for two men who dedicated decades to the public good?

Why don’t they protest Trump who wants to export all the Gaza residents and build a money losing casino and crappy apartments in Gaza?

I can understand not protesting Dave McCormick because he hasn’t been near NEPA but why not go after the people in power, who have the votes?

Thinking about this, I thought of a few reasons.

1.        They are getting paid and still haven’t cashed the checks from the last “event”:.

2.                             They think Trump is terrible as I heard one of the protestors yell, “we hate Trump too!”  After I gave him half the finger (arthritic left hand I have) then why not go after HIM? 

3. Did the Liuzerne County MAGAs pay them? Those boys love their flags and bull horns! 

But then  I found the answer. And I’m making this (surprise, surprise) about me. I’ve been called every name in the book. People have come after me fairly and unfairly. I’ve had misunderstandings with the best and worst of people.  But that’s freedom  of speech and if these three stooges made sense I’d  not be writing this. That stated,  

4 . I’m all for freedom of speech but not for freedom of stupid.
