Speaker of the House Mike Johnson now has a strategy for the 2026 elections. Lie and accuse Democrats of being Communists. This pathetic 156 pound of garbage is trying to sell the fact that Democrats, any Democrat is a Commie. Speaker Johnson also addressed the rise of anti-American, communist candidates currently taking over the Democrat Party. 

“This philosophy has led to the murder of tens of millions of innocent people in the 20th century alone. It is a nightmare and is a trail to certain death. And that's why we're speaking in such stark terms, because we need America to wake up,” Speaker Johnson said. “35 years ago, Republicans and Democrats in Congress, the Reagan years, they were fighting communism on a distant shore. Now it's here.”

The Trump administration now has done another cruel and chaotic thing with immigration. MAGA thugs cry and scream that the immigrants have to do it legally but then they can’t because the administration has fired According to Satterthwaite’s findings, 135 immigration judges  since January 2025. Many received an email with no explanation or no allegation of misconduct, just a notice informing them that the attorney general had decided to remove them.

To be sure, Immigration courts are different from the federal courts most Americans are familiar with. They aren’t part of the judicial branch. They are administrative courts housed inside the Justice Department, which means the same government prosecuting a deportation case also employs the judge deciding it.

THE INVESTIGATORS ARE ALSO THE JUDGES!

That structure has existed for decades, and critics have long argued that it leaves immigration judges vulnerable to political pressure. But for years, immigration judges had one important safeguard: civil service protections. They generally could not be fired “without cause.”

That was until the Trump administration removed the lone Democratic member of the Merit Systems Protection Board, the panel that hears many federal employment disputes. The board then ruled that immigration judges can be fired at will.

With that safeguard gone, the firings began. And according to the U.N. experts, the dismissals were not random. Judges who granted asylum at rates above the national average were disproportionately removed, and so were judges with backgrounds representing immigrants or humanitarian organizations or appointed by the previous administration.

Entire courts have gone dark. The San Francisco immigration court, once staffed by 21 judges, has shut down. Across nine states, more than a dozen immigration courts have lost over half their judges.

Here’s what that means in practice: According to the National Association of Immigration Judges, every judge who leaves an immigration courtroom leaves roughly 700 pending cases behind. Those cases end up being reassigned, with remaining judges now responsible for some 10,000 to 12,000 cases.

There is no way that any of “the illegals” are ever going to get a break in this country. And the MAGA entitled people who spew hate, racism and ignorance will pay for it in the long run. (MANow, LuLac)_

TRUMP GOES ON RAMPAGE AGAINST AMERICA’S BIGGEST TRADING PARTNER

CANADA

Once upon a time the United States had a great rapport with Canada. Then along came Donald Trump and his pique. If you see a major price in cars, booze, cheese and eggs, blame the deal maker.

President Donald Trump on Monday imposed 50% tariffs on most Canadian goods, declaring that Canada has unfairly discriminated against American autos, alcohol and dairy products.

The move could unleash a new wave of economic chaos, with risks of higher inflation and further fraying of relations between two nations that had been closely woven together before Trump’s return to the White House. The administration official previewing the action said that Canada was one of the only nations other than China that retaliated against Trump’s previous tariffs and must be held accountable.

The official insisted on anonymity on a call with reporters to preview the president’s actions and said that Trump signed three proclamations to launch the tariffs under Section 338 of the 1930 Trade Act. Several Democratic lawmakers last year proposed repealing the section because they said Trump could use it to destabilize the economy.

The Canadian government has seen this before. He threats and then retreats in his 30 day window.  But the people are simply sick and tired of him. 

The new 50% tariffs would exclude energy products, potash, fish and critical minerals, but they would include goods that had previously been protected from import taxes by the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement, or USMCA. That 2020 trade pact was not renewed by the U.S., triggering a new set of negotiations that could run until 2036.  (AP, LuLac)

 

MOMS TURNING AWAY FROM TRUMP

Mothers in the United States are turning on President Donald Trump, with a growing number disapproving of the job he's doing, according to a new poll.

Approximately 62 percent of women with children under the age of 18 said they disapprove of Trump's handling of his job, according to a July survey from the research institute Echelon Insights.

That's a six percentage-point increase compared to results from the same poll in July 2025. The survey, of 1,004 voters across the U.S., also found that 59 percent of moms view Trump unfavorably – a three-point increase from last year. Dads appear more supportive of Trump.

The trends, identified by Echelon, appear consistent with other Trump approval rating polls that indicate the public has become less supportive of the president since the start of his second term.

When asked about Trump's specific policies, mothers appeared more disgruntled with the president's handling of immigration, foreign affairs and the economy.

Mothers, who generally do more grocery shopping and cooking than fathers, may have firsthand experience with higher food and gas prices as a result of the president's war with Iran.

Moms who are part of specific groups, such as those in the Make America Healthy Again movement, expressed support for Trump during the 2024 presidential election. But now, some say they feel abandoned by the administration that promised to crack down on over-processed foods and unnecessary chemical ingredients.

Well it has been said that women are their own worst enemy when another woman is running for office. These on the fence moms, these MAGA moms, these people who bought the Kool Aid in ’24 are now paying the price. Let’s hope they remember what Trump did with total Republican party acquiescence to them, their children and this country. (LuLac, Independent)

 

TRUMP’S LATEST STRIKES ON IRAN UNLIKELY TO HAVE ANY IMPACT WITH WAR STUCK IN LIMBO, SAYS US INTELLIGENCE

Tehran has vowed to fight until ‘the very last day’ which has to worry Donald Trump. 

US strikes on Iran are unlikely to impact Tehran or cause it to soften its negotiating demands, according to new American intelligence assessments.

Iran attacked another tanker in the Strait of Hormuz on Tuesday, forcing crew to abandon the ship as both sides traded strikes for a tenth consecutive night.

But Iran’s government is unlikely to be affected by the attacks, current and former US officials told the Washington Post.

Instead, US intelligence officials have briefed the Trump administration that Tehran and Washington are now stuck in limbo, with both sides refusing to deescalate.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has said that it will not give up and vowed to fight to the end, saying on Monday: “[Trump] should know that, by God's grace, even if this war lasts for several years, until the very last day, our missiles and drones will rain down on American criminals.

But Trump has likewise threatened that Iran will pay the price “many times over” for the deaths of three US soldiers – including 19-year-old Isabella Gonzalez – in Iranian attacks on a US air base in Jordan on Saturday.

He wrote on Truth Social: “Every time Iran kills an American Soldier they will pay for that killing many times over! This directive has been passed on to Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Daniel Caine, and every Leader in the Military. President DONALD J TRUMP.”. That statement is right out of the Isreal playbook and has gotten the United States war effort nowhere.

Israeli finance minister Bezalel Smotrich said on Tuesday that Israel has “no interest” in joining the ongoing confrontation between the US and Iran, in comments made at a conference organised by the Gush Katif Heritage Center. Israeli troops withdrew from parts of southern Lebanon with the Lebanese army deployed in the areas instead. (Independent, LuLac)

WORK

Last week, Representative Eddie Day Pashinski  the opportunity to continue exploring the incredible work being done to strengthen Pennsylvania agriculture and improve access to fresh, healthy food in communities across our Commonwealth.

On Wednesday, members of the PA House Agriculture Committee and Secretary Russell Redding toured Lundale Farms. This collective farming operation supports small and first-time farmers through sustainable agriculture and shared resources.

On Thursday, we visited Community Grocer, a first-of-its-kind grocery store and meal kit preparation site in West Philadelphia; the New Kensington Community Development Corporation, which is expanding urban gardens and farms throughout New Kensington and surrounding neighborhoods; and Sanctuary Farm Philly, a women-led community farm providing fresh produce and cooking classes to residents in Northern Philadelphia.

These organizations demonstrate that agriculture is about more than growing food; it's about creating opportunities, strengthening neighborhoods, supporting local farmers, and improving the health and well-being of our communities. Pennsylvania's agricultural future is brighter because of your dedication.

Pashinski’s work on the AG committee has even transferred into the local farms he and other state leaders represent.

 

PAGNOTTI NARROWLY UP IN POLL

 

A recent  poll of likely voters in Pennsylvania’s 8th Congressional District shows Paige Cognetti leading stock trading Congressman Rob Bresnahan. The poll finds that Cognetti leads Bresnahan 46% – 45%, cementing the race’s status as a true toss-up. The poll also finds that Bresnahan is underwater and deeply unpopular with NEPA voters (38% favorable / 45% unfavorable). While Paige’s campaign is gaining momentum and has clear room for growth, Bresnahan is already well known to voters and unpopular in a district that Trump carried by 9 points in 2024.

Key findings include:

Paige leads Bresnahan in a true toss-up race. Paige is up by 1 point in the current vote (46% Cognetti / 45% Bresnahan / 9% undecided). Among the 57% of voters who recognize both candidates, her performance is even stronger, with a majority supporting Paige (53%).

Bresnahan is unpopular and already known, whereas Paige has room for growth. Currently, the congressman’s net favorability is underwater at -7 (38% favorable / 45% unfavorable), and he is well known in the district (just 16% can’t rate him). More than twice as many voters are unfamiliar with Paige (38% can’t rate).

The environment is shifting in Paige’s favor. Despite the majority of likely voters in the district voting for Trump in the 2024 presidential election, they break evenly for supporting a generic Democratic vs a generic Republican candidate for Congress (40% the Democratic candidate / 41% the Republican

candidate), and nearly a fifth of voters remain persuadable (19%).

The poll was conducted by Impact Research from June 8-11, 2026, among 500 likely 2026 general election voters in PA-08.

But here’s the thing, the poll shows a toss up. One point difference that can easily be erased on both sides. As they say, polls don’t vote, people do.

 

 

BRESNAHAN INTRODUCES BILL TO KEEP DATA CENTER DECISIONS IN LOCAL HANDS

 

Representative Rob Bresnahan, Jr.  introduced the Local Control Protection Act, legislation to curb large corporations’ ability to litigate and attempt to overturn local decisions regarding data centers and ensure approved developments maintain a benefit to the community.

“We should never let billion-dollar corporations supersede the voices of those who live in the community,” said Rep. Bresnahan. “My legislation will protect small boroughs and townships who decide against a data center from the legal wrath of billion-dollar corporations. What’s best for Northeastern Pennsylvania always comes first. The people who live here, work here, and raise their families here are the ones who know what’s best for our communities.”

When a local planning commission or borough council votes to deny a data center, a well-resourced developer can, and often will, sue the local municipality to override their decision. This leaves community leaders with an impossible choice: approve projects their constituents don’t want or drain their budgets fighting a lawsuit they may not be able to sustain.

"Over the past year, we have watched developers try to strong-arm their way into our communities,” continued Rep. Bresnahan. “The greed of these out-of-state corporations should not dictate how people in Northeastern Pennsylvania live their lives, and I’m determined to see that my constituents get to decide what is put in their backyards.”

The Local Control Protection Act is designed to protect municipalities and counties from being sued in Federal court by developers for denying data center applications. The protection would apply when the denial is based on documented findings, concerns about public health, infrastructure, community character, water, or similar concerns. Additionally, the legislation bars Federal agencies from approving permits related to the construction or operation of a data center if the developer has initiated or is maintaining legal action in any court seeking to challenge or overturn a local zoning denial.

Go.vernor and Pennsylvania Department of Human Services Secretary Dr. Val Arkoosh were joined by advocates and community leaders at the YWCA in Carlisle to highlight the $12 million increase secured in the 2026-27 budget to support rape crisis centers, nearly doubling funding for these vital centers across Pennsylvania

Governor Josh Shapiro and Pennsylvania Department of Human Services Secretary Dr. Val Arkoosh visited YWCA Carlisle & Cumberland County to meet with community leaders, advocates, and survivors to highlight the $12 million increase secured in the 2026-27 budget to support rape crisis centers - the largest increase in Pennsylvania history.

This year's budget doubles funding for these critical centers - for a total of $24.17 million - ensuring vital resources including legal support and counseling remain accessible and available to survivors. Since taking office, the Governor has driven out more than $60 million to the Commonwealth's rape crisis centers.

"Earlier this year, I visited the Pittsburgh Action Against Rape center and heard firsthand about how hard it is to provide essential services to support victims of rape and sexual assault on a tight budget," said Governor Shapiro. "Their stories stuck with me - as have the stories of survivors I've met throughout my career - and as we worked to negotiate this new budget, I knew we had to deliver for them. The work our 47 rape crisis centers do every day is incredibly important to the communities they serve, and I'm proud we secured an historic increase in funding for these vital centers and are making sure these providers have the resources they need all across Pennsylvania."

The Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA) (42 U.S.C. § 12101) is a civil rights law that prohibits discrimination based on disability. It affords similar protections against discrimination to Americans with disabilities as the Civil Rights Act of 1964, which made discrimination based on race, religion, sex, national origin, and other characteristics illegal, and later sexual orientation and gender identity. In addition, unlike the Civil Rights Act, the ADA also requires covered employers to provide reasonable accommodations to employees with disabilities, and imposes accessibility requirements on public accommodations.

In 1986, the National Council on Disability had recommended the enactment of an Americans with Disabilities Act and drafted the first version of the bill which was introduced in the House and Senate in 1988. A broad bipartisan coalition of legislators supported the ADA, while the bill was opposed by business interests (who argued the bill imposed costs on business) and conservative evangelicals (who opposed protection for individuals with HIV). The final version of the bill was signed into law on July 26, 1990, by President George H. W. Bush. It was later amended in 2008 and signed by President George W. Bush with changes effective as of January 1, 2009.

Conditions classed as disabilities under the ADA include both mental and physical conditions. A condition does not need to be severe or permanent to be a disability  Equal Employment Opportunity Commission regulations provide a list of conditions that should easily be concluded to be disabilities: amputation, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), autism, bipolar disorder, blindness, cancer, cerebral palsy, deafness, diabetes, down syndrome, dwarfism, epilepsy, HIV/AIDS, intellectual disability, major depressive disorder, mobility impairments requiring a wheelchair, multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy, obsessive–compulsive disorder (OCD), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and schizophrenia. Other mental or physical health conditions also may be disabilities, depending on what the individual's symptoms would be in the absence of "mitigating measures" such as medication, therapy, assistive devices, or other means of restoring function, during an "active episode" of the condition (if the condition is episodic).

Certain specific conditions that are widely considered anti-social, or tend to result in illegal activity, such as kleptomania, pedophilia, exhibitionism, and voyeurism,  are excluded under the definition of "disability" in order to prevent abuse of the statute's purpose.  Additionally, sexual orientation is no longer considered a disorder and is also excluded from the definition of "disability".  However, in 2022, the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit stated that the ADA covers individuals with gender dysphoria, which may aid transgender people in accessing legal protections they otherwise may be unable to and the number one song in LuLac land and America was “Hold On” by En Vogue.
