The LuLac Edition #275, August 1rst, 2007

PHOTO INDEX: LACKAWANNA COUNTY COMMISSIONER BOB CORDARO AND ONE OF THE "BAD GUYS" HE REFERRED TO AT HIS NEWS CONFERENCE.

CORDARO QUESTIONS

Here's what I want to know, how can a lawyer who passed the bar, run for Congress, makes a great impression, developed three or four small businesses and had a long standing law firm mess up, not once, but twice on an important form like one for election? Even lowly aldermen have mastered the nuances of the form. Or is it that Mr. Cordaro has something he doesn't want to share with the public? If he leaves office, would you hire him as an Attorney? "Got the forms right here, bud" as they lead you to Graterford.
Cordaro's comments that "bad people" or "bad men" are out to get him is an insult. Like Richard Nixon did three decades ago, Mr. Cordaro has given the Democrats a sharp knife. He's provided the weapon.
Cordaro hopefully will be renominated by the GOP and in my estimation should have an opportunity to run. He has a record that he can run on. The ultimate decision will be made by those voters. But he has to fill out the form right or suffer the consequences. Unless what he's hiding or deleting or not correcting on that form is worth more than the political legacy he has established for himself, the GOP and generations to come.

PAUL CRAWLS

GOP Chair Paul Catellano crawled out of his usual hiding place to milk in the media speculation about Commissioner Cordaro. The only time this guy shows up is when there is news being made, a President comes to town or when he gets a chance to call himself the leader of the Lackawanna County GOP. This is the same guy who has not fielded candidates for various offices in Scranton and let Democrat Gary DiBileo run on the GOP line against Chris Doherty for Mayor. A chairman recruits and builds a party, our boy Paul (some people say he has great hoagies in his store but I'll pass) soaks up the media accaim for a few minutes of local fame. My point is proven that if Cordaro couldn't run or dropped out of sight tomorrow, one would be hard pressed to name a viable replacement cultivated by the GOP.

MEDIA FIELD DAY

Talk show hosts on the radio and TV reporters WANT Cordaro to stay. He's good copy. A good story. And in the dog days of summer, he's news. Stay Bob, stay!

Bob is on the Ballot. Todays Radio marathon was a campaign stop! No doubt in my mind!
In a surprise move, Paul Sorvino has been added to the Republican Ticket along with AJ Munchak .Residency requirements have been waived because Sorvino is sorta famous. Details to follow.

GREAT DAY FOR WILK AND The Bob Cordaro Show. They got a full days campaign contribution and Washo/OBrien got the other half. That’s 150% talking about Bob one way or the other.
Look Bob made two errors on disclosure. Bob aint that dumb! Bob failed to disclose because he thought he’d get away with it. That’s Bob!!! Bob a master of the radio made the others look like amateurs because Bob been on the radio for 20 years and loves it! Credit Sue Henry with a couple tough questions on the flip flop from the baby being no big deal to being properly appalled. All in All the Winners yesterday, and I listened to all of it, were Bob and WILK.l I wonder how many people heard?

Took the dog to the Vet last night. They have pictures posted of dogs and in some cases owners. One dog was pictured with “famous” people. Fido with Ben and Jerry and Fido with Paul Sorvino. Believe it or not!
Cordaro will be appointed to the ballot by the Republican Party, no doubt. Strange both “mistakes” came on disclosure re income. Don’t know who caused the first error, but its evident that Mike Washo forced Bob to lie, er make a mistake on the second form. Washo seems to be at the root of all evil as far as Congressman Cordaro is concerned. Bob, after saying personal attacks were unnecessary, noted that if Washo’s lips are moving he’s lying. What drama. Bob the family man was on the radio yesterday, but he didn’t go home to his family because he (edited).
AJ stood by by his Master, twiddled with his tie and wondered who would do his thinking for him if Bob were out of the race.
Never fear AJ, Bobs goin nowhere. Its your integrity that left some time ago, Munch!
Flash News: Paul Sorvino has announced the planned production of the Bob Cordaro Story. A simple tale of a young man with an enormous ego who tried to save a County for God and Country and was crucified died and was buried only to rise again on the third day…

Officials at Lamar Outdoor Advertising today denied reports that they are currently printing 3 foot Paul Sorvino heads to be placed over Bob Cordaro’s head on local billboards. Sorvino, currently making a film in Twitty Arkansas, could not be reached for comment. The head shot is reported to have been lifted from the movie “Goodfellas”, the only Sorvino film other than “Championship Season” anyone can name.
Meanwhile in related news, casting continues for the upcoming Bob Cordaro Story Movie. The part of Bob’s dear friend Evie McNulty has gone to John Travolta and the hot rumour is that Brad Pitt is on board as Bob! The Mike Washo role is still up for grabs, but the late Peter Lorre looks like a lock for the devious Corey OBrien.

I was a business to business sales rep in the SCranton area in the nineties. Part of my job was to make "cold calls". My worst experience was when I went to Catellano's Market. Mr. Catellano was unfriendly, ignorant and downright nasty to sales people trying to make a living. And he's in politics! What a joke!
