PHOTO INDEX: WILK'S KEVIN LYNN AND FORMER PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE GENERAL WESLEY CLARK.

KEV WAS FIRST!

Yesterday as I was watching retired General Wes Clark respond to a question about Senator John McCain's ability to respond to an emergency in an attack or lead a country in war, on "Face The Nation", I thought I was hearing Kevin Lynn. Clark responded that being in a prison camp does not necessarily give you the tools to be a war time leader. Clark pointed out that McCain spent much of the generation shaping Vietnam War in a prison camp and inferred that he was just a victim of circumstances. WILK's Kevin Lynn has been saying the same thing since January. Clark's comments have unleashed debate from both the Obama and McCain campaigns.

IT'S JOE

Governor Rendell has named Attorney Joe Musto to the Luzerne County Court of Common Pleas. The seat became vacant when Judge Michael Conahan retired. This is ironic since it was Conahan, a Hazleton Magistrate who beat Musto in both primaries in the nineties when Musto was a sitting Judge. Conahan's campaign characterized Musto's appointment back then as nepotism since Musto's brother was a former Congressman and State Senator. What goes around comes around I guess. It will be interesting to see the campaign Joe Musto mounts for retention this time.

A BUDGET

Wonder of wonders, the State has a budget before the June 30th deadline. That means no layoffs for unessential employees and the state parks can be open on the Fourth of July. Major items in the budget, a rededication to energy policies in the state, no tax increase (hey its an election year) and major state government investment in Pennsylvania's crumbling infrastructure. Also there was added funding for aging dams and municipal water facilities.

When people speak the truth in this country trouble follows. Getting shot down and spending time in a POW Hell are not qualifications for President. The mans courage and character are not being brought into question by anyone. And when it comes to experience, what experience did the current president have on a National or International level? The way I understand it, he sobered up about 15 years ago and next thing you know he's the Decider! I respect John McCain. I dont agree with him on a lot and I wont be voting for him, but I respect the man. I have absolutely no respect for the current Pres or VP and serious questions regarding the character or lack of in both. Look around. How could we do any worse?

Kevin Lynn; a coward who has never served his country belittles a genuine war hero and you quote him? Wesley Clark's points were actually quite unintelligent considering the fact that his man, Obama, has zero experience serving his country in the military and his comparison further points out how weak Obama would be compared to McCain.
What Kevin Lynn has always left out was McCain's continued service after he was released. He also questions McCain's status as a war hero, he omits the fact that John McCain could have gotten out of his POW camp at an earlier time, but refused preferential treatment. He stayed and was tortured when he could have been safe at home. I guarantee that the Kevin Lynn's of the world would have ran home in a heartbeat and the hell with the other men who were his fellow prisoners.
McCain was released in 1973 the war continued on after this release. He remained in the Navy until around 1980.
Wesley Clark is a partisan hack at this point, he used John Kerry's THREE months in country many times as an example of Kerry's leadership.
Kevin Lynn is a disgusting, disgraceful failure and coward. When his business failed he turned tail and ran, when his country needed young men to serve he hid behind a college deferment.

IN RESPONSE
What would Kevin had said about JFK and PT109?
NOT WANTING TO SPEAK FOR KEVIN BUT I BELIEVE HE, AS I DID WOULD HAVE ENJOYED JFK'S RETORT WHEN ASKED THE QUESTION HOW HE BECAME A WAR HERO. HE SIMPLY SAID, "THEY SUNK MY BOAT!" TYPICAL OF THE UNDERSTATEMENT AND MODESTY OF THAT GENERATION.

Evidence indicates that Kevin Lynn is at the heart of the City Council problem in Scranton. Somehow he forced voters to vote for these idiots. He is also said to be having an affair with Janet "Motormouth' Evans! Bob Cordaro and AJ Munchak are also Kevin's work as well as 50,000 potholes in the city of Scranton.
Why doesnt this guy pick on New York or some city big enough to fight back? If only he was more like Sue Henry and totally boring!

Just a quick note....... When a judge is appointed, he does not run for Retention. He must run as a candidate along with any other attorney who wants to give it a shot.
