I GOT THAT IN THE MAIL LAST THURSDAY AND MADE A DECISION NOT TO PUT IT ON MY SITE. HERE'S WHY, 1. THE AD WAS INFLAMATORY AND DID NOT ADDRESS THE FACTS. 2. THE AD WAS MOST LIKELY AGAINST JUDICIAL CANONS. 3. ZOLA DID NOT ATTEND THE LULAC OR LEAGUE OF WOMEN VOTERS FORUM TO FACE THE PEOPLE LIKE THE OTHER CANDIDATES DID. HIS EXCUSE FOR THE LEAGUE FORUM WAS THAT HE HAD BUSINESS WITH THE D.A.'S OFFICE, MAYBE, BUT BILL AMESBURY HAD AN ARRAIGNMENT BUT STILL MANAGED TO COME BACK TO THE MEETING. ZOLA IS A YOUNG MAN AND MAYBE HAS TO LEARN YOU CAN'T BUY AN ELECTION WITH A LOT OF MONEY AND SCARE TACTICS. YOU HAVE TO LOOK VOTERS IN THE EYE AND ASK THEM FOR THEIR VOTE.

in his sights and he makes a good case! I think Lackawanna County can
do without this guy. Judges need to be held to a higher standard or you wind up with a Judiciary like Luzerne County. I hope voters in the Lu and the Lac learn from the recent past and continue to pay close attention in the months and years to come and I appreciate your efforts. Business as usual cannot be allowed to continue in NEPA!

According to the Catholic Church, he was born in Scotland, around the area now known as Kilpatrick ("cell of Patrick") and his parents (Calpurnius and Conchessa) were Romans living in Britain to watch over colonies. Around the age of 14 he was captured as part of a raid and brought to Ireland until he escaped at age 20 back to Britain and his family. After having a prophetic dream he was ordained and eventually became a bishop, upon which time he set out to take the Gospel to Ireland, which at the time was a land of Druids and pagans. On the weight issue, my comment was not about the fact that he was overweight, it was the lack of discipline that allowed his weight to get out of control. The fact that he is undisciplined in one regard of life demonstrates exactly how he may serve, in an undisciplined manner. When one enters politics all is on the table and we should be allowed to comment on it in an open forum. I really think that if you are not going to allow the free flow of ideas then you should not allow comments at all.
I agree that Zola should show up, but also his flyer is relevent. There have been what 9 or 10 murders in Luzerne county this year. Judges may not be on the street, but their sentences can send a message. Also, it got plenty of attention and much free media... It may not make a difference, but in a race of 17 it set him apart from the crowd. Now we will have to see if that makes a difference. I am not voting for him, but not because of his flier. I am voting only for women, and only attractive women. Go Tina and Jenn...

He is not a little over weight. He is morbidly obese. And your sensitivity aside, it is not about appearance, it is about disciple in life. Lack of discipline in one aspect can and often does lead to lack of it in other parts. You made my point, you were a womanizer, your lack of discipline in regards to your weight showed a lack of discipline in another, fidelity, commitment and monogamy. I am sorry if I offended you, however I strongly believe it to be relevant. This is an individual asking me and others for our vote and in turn our trust. If he can not take responsibility for his own health, what other responsibilities will he neglect? You may disagree, you may think I am prejudice, but it is a valid point to me. It isn't about weight, it isn't about appearance, it isn't even about health... It is about a lack of self control, something I feel is very important in a judge. Lack of self control is what caused the recent problems.
And a quick aside, I do not have a perfect body. I am about 50 pounds overweight. The lack of self control is something I am well aware and I am well aware of other areas I lack control over and all are negative and all would have a negative impact if I were to be a judge.
p.s. his running for judge ad is the best ad out there.....

Churchill, a portly chap. He saved a Country with leadership and discipline. I guess according to your theory people who get cancer dont deserve your vote either because if they'd of taken care of themselves it wouldnt have happened! Geez, man, its 2009!
non 2:08. Winston's lack of control brought about the current mid east structure that led to the rise of Islamic terrorism. His divide and conquer, contstant splitting of tribes and countries with lack of control or foresight, much the way an obese individual attacks a buffet table, had long term ramifications that more than likely caused more death and destruction than he was responsible for saving. And Churchill was a drunk on top of being overweight.
And he did not save England. The United States entry into WWII changed the tide. If Hitler did not go into the USSR and the Japanese did not attack Pearl Harbor, Great Britian surely would have fallen. Before Churchill the sun never set on the British Empire, after Churchill the Empire collapsed and GB as a world power declined rapidly.
However, with all that said, I do not agree with the other poser however, I know Terranna and he is getting one of my two votes.

yo prof did not have the time and space to go into detail... was just trying to make a quick point about what glutony in one aspect of life can bleed into another. again, it isn't the end all and be all, i just don't care for undisciplined people in leadership roles and obesity is a sign of lack of discipline. i know i am 50 pounds overweight and i lack discipline in many aspects of my life. as far as the titanic, there weren't as many fat people in 1914 as there are today.
the lack of discipline is my opinion. mr. yonki made a point about clothing being a sign of respect to yourself and to others. then why is not body habitus a similar show of respect. if you respect yourself so little to take a care to keep your appearance up, what kind of respect do you have for others?
to be so overweight that you move into obesity as the candidate i was discusing, imho, shows such a lack of discipline and i am extrapolating from mr. yonki's statement a lack of respect that he will not get my vote.
I think you're all nuts. I looked at his picture, I've seen him in person, he is not morbidly obese. And even if he was the size of Jabba the hut, if he was and is an honest man like I know he is, I'm going to use my discipline to vote for JOE TERRANA and tell as many people I know to do so.
