PHOTO INDEX: PRESIDENT RONALD REAGAN AND SECRET SERVICE AGENT JERRY PARR SECONDS AFTER REAGAN WAS SHOT.

REAGAN'S SHOOTING

It is thirty years today that an attempt was made on the life of President Ronald Reagan. Barely in office for a few weeks, the shooting was the culmination in a stalking spree begun by John Hinkley, a disturbed young man with mental issues. The day was filled with incredible moments that showed news as it was happening. On display was the full force of the American Experience, warts and all. After nearly dying, Reagan was rescued by cool decision making on the part of the Secret Service and outstanding medical care. Here are a few moments of that day:

I thank God everyday that Ronald Reagan's life was spared on that terrible day. All those namby pamby liberals who attacked him as a fake cowboy sure got caught with their foot in their mouths after the Gipper showed them what a real hero acts like!!!!
Good Ol' Dutch basically told that bullet that entered him to 'go to hell'!! Which is what I have been saying to liberals and commies (if there really is any difference between the two) for 60 years.
God Bless Ronald W. Reagan and the great sainted Sen. Rick Santorum (who was cheated out of re-election by the Casey camp); to hell with Liberals. I hate you all!!!!
