Which branch of the military did Obama serve?

Well he was too young for Vietnam. So I guess he served in the same branch as Trump but with great deal more of distinction and class.
Well wouldn't that make Obama the first civilian president?

Sorry, maybe I should have clarified "civilian". On the morning he was elected, I used that term on TV and on this blog explaining that he had no military experience as well as no governmental experience.
No school board, no type of government working knowledge.
I actually used "civilian" to be nice. I had a really nice birthday, had a huge response from my FB friends and other channels of social media and was feeling pretty calm.
But I will actually edit and put in what I really wanted to.
Thanks.
Yonki ... Yonki ... Yonki!!!
It's amazing to me how so many followers of the Whiner-in-Chief swallow his pablum. He simply is not deserving of respect. luckily, he's going to take the R. Party down with him. Prepare to be disappointed, trumpoids!
I think Bill Clinton was the first "civilian" president. Although, W Bush's service was a no show appointment due to privilege, technically he did serve. To be more accurate, President Obama is the first mixed race president. If I am correct, his genetic make-up is 50% Caucasian and 50% Black. As far as your comments about Trump. Bipolar is a medical diagnosis, and using it without appropriate training can be considered to be inaccurate; and it is a disservice to those who genuinely suffer from the disorder. Drunken? It is well known that because of a family tragedy, Trump does not drink at all. So, while I hate the term fake news, what you have done here is flat out lied, (edited)

His behavior is that of a drunken uncle at a family gathering. Everyone knows he doesn't drink.
In terms of lying, that's rich given the amount of lies he has told on tape. Trump is not a drunk. But there are times when he is belligerent, spiteful and petty and aggrieved.

Again, you are missing my entire point. I was not only speaking of military inexperience but governmental experience. Bill Clinton was a Governor.
There are political civilians. Wendell Wilkie was one, you can make the case Tom Wolf was. I have stated numerous times that the term civilian was used more than military in its usage to describe his qualifications or lack thereof.
Just because you misuse the term civilian does not mean we must accept your definition.
Words matter, as does the accepted definition of such words.

Fair enough.
Just wish we had a President who had that wisdom that words matter.
Just to repeat my previous comment:
Yonki ... Yonki ... Yonki!!!
Mr Yonki,
Do you realize you are very much like Tiffany's dad?
Some one made mention that you were being inaccurate, you said it was okay because Tiffany's dad does it.
I make mention of the accepted use of the word civilian, and comment that words matter, and while you say fair enough, you take a dig at Tiffany's dad.
I don't really care much for or about the current president; but it seems that you and he have much more in common than you would care to admit.
