PROPERTY TAX REFORM FORUM AT KINGS

TRUMP PET TURNS ON HIM

Omarosa and Donald in happier times. (Photo: AP)
Omarosa Manigault-Newman makes no bones about the fact that she thinks Donald Trump’s mental health is declining. In a forthcoming tell-all about her White House days, reportedly questions President Trump's mental state.
The book, "Unhinged: An Insider’s Account of the Trump White House," is set to hit the shelves later this month. In an excerpt obtained by DailyMail.com, she cites her former boss' interview with NBC News’ Lester Holt last year as a moment when she presumed "something wasn't right."
“While watching the interview I realized something real and serious was going on in Donald’s brain,” Omarosa reportedly writes. “His mental decline could not be denied. ... Many didn’t notice it as keenly as I did because I knew him way back when. They thought Trump was being Trump, off the cuff. But I knew something wasn’t right.”
Omarosa, who resigned in December 2017 as director of communications for the White House Office of Public Liaison, first met Trump in 2004 as a contestant on the first season of NBC’s “The Apprentice.” At the White House, Omarosa reportedly had a tense relationship with Chief of Staff John Kelly, who cracked down on her Oval Office access among other things.
In a way I feel sorry for Trump. He has no true friends or allies. His friends are all transactional and loyal to him when he demands it or is in such a position to do so.
JFK had Dave Powers, LBJ had Abe Fortis and Richard Russell, Nixon had Bebe Robozo, Reagan had Nancy andClinton had his friends of Bill.
But there is no one Trump can rely on to take care of HIM.
On his TV show Omorosa portrayed a back stabbing snake. Apparently she wasn’t acting.(Dailymail, NBC, LuLac)

CASEY TOUTS SUPPORT FOR PROTECTING PENNSYLVANIANS WITH PRE-EXISTING HEALTH CONDITIONS
Senator Bob Casey (Photo: LuLac archives)
U.S. Senator Bob Casey was in suburban Pittsburgh Wednesday to advocate for protecting health care coverage for people with pre-existing conditions. Casey was joined by health care providers and patients with pre-existing conditions at the Squirrel Hill Health Center in Brentwood, Pa.
It's estimated that more than five million Pennsylvanians live with a pre-existing condition, which can range from asthma to pregnancy to cancer.
Allegheny County Health Director Karen Hacker said the county's insurance enrollment went up by about 100,000 after the Affordable Care Act was passed.
"As a result of that, we are seeing more people who are able to get care, we're seeing more people who are appropriately using the medical system, getting preventative care and things like that," Hacker said. "And with the moves that are going on in Washington, those are all potentially going to unravel."
Amy Houtrow, the Chief of Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine at UMPC's Children's Hospital, said she exclusively takes care of patients with pre-existing conditions at her clinical practice. She said about 20 percent of children in the United States have special health care needs, and about 8 percent have a disability that impacts their daily lives.
"Having good insurance means having good access to health care," Houtrow said. "When you have good access to health care, your opportunities are much better."
An ongoing court case led by 20 Attorneys General, Texas v. United States, argues the Affordable Care Act's protections for pre-existing conditions are unconstitutional. Casey said this is unacceptable. (Casey campaign-LuLac)

DEMOCRAT PRIMARY FEVER

Much is being made about the results in key primiaries the other night in places like Michigan, Ohio, and Kansas. The Democrats are saying we are doing better than ever. Well yeah the margins are getting thinner, sometimes razor thin but you have to get a win before you do anything chest thumping. As we speak, Ohio is still in play. But a win is a win. And as of today, the Dem is about 1200 votes behind.
Sports blogger Joe Posanski researched 1-0 games for a time. He I compiled a list of the 1,069 games that pitchers have won 1-0, and the 759 games that a pitcher has lost 1-0. Bottom line is the loser, although coming with a run of tying and 2 runs of winning, coming close: LOST!
The Dems need to put more wins up  like Connor Lamb on the board.

BARLETTA ASKS: WHEN WILL BOB CASEY STAND UP FOR THE VICTIMS OF
SANCTUARY CITIES

The Barletta cam[paign came up with a red herring on Bob Casey and Sanctuary cities. Hey Lou, when will you stand up for the children pulled out of the arms of their mother at the border?

BARLETTA STATEMENT ON PRESIDENT TRUMP RE-IMPOSING IRAN SANCTIONS

Congressman Lou Barletta issued the following statement on President Donald J. Trump’s decision to re-impose sanctions on Iran.
“I applaud President Trump for re-imposing tough economic sanctions on Iran. The Obama Administration’s disastrous Iran Deal, which I have always opposed, was a failure that did nothing to weaken Iran’s murderous dictatorship or make the world a safer place. As the world’s leading state sponsor of terror, we cannot allow the Iranian regime to continue to fund violent extremism around the world while imposing oppression and violent behavior against their own people.”
This is an issue that is easy to demogoge because of the money (Iran’ money held back through sanctions) to the country. But in reality As a result of withdrawing from the Iran nuclear deal in early May, the Trump administration will begin enforcing new sanctions late this year on most companies and countries that do business with Iran and its $50 billion in annual exports, two-thirds of which are for oil. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo outlined in a speech last month that "these will be the strongest sanctions in history by the time we are done."
China, India, South Korea, Japan and France have become the largest investors in Iranian goods since 2015, according to the latest figures compiled by The Observatory of Economic Complexity, when the agreement brokered by the Obama administration limiting Iran's nuclear program opened up its markets. Now the Trump White House expects countries doing business with Iran, particularly its oil sector – not just China, France, Germany, Russia, the United Kingdom and the European Union, who signed the Iran nuclear deal in 2015 – to adhere to the new U.S. demands.
If you think after trashing NATO and other countries they will listen to us, Barletta and his buddy Donnie have another thing coming.

The government of Laos was overthrown in a coup led by Captain Kong Le, and supported by rebellious units within the Laotian Army. Prime Minister Samsonith was in Luang Prabang, making preparations for the funeral of the late King of Laos, when the army units struck in Vientiane. Former Premier Souvanna Phouma formed a new cabinet on August 15, and civil war was averted after the new King asked, on August 29, that a new ministry be created, and to include members of the old regime. The legislature approved the new ministry on August 31…. The Canadian Bill of Rights became effective. is a federal statute and bill of rights enacted by Parliament of Canada on August 10, 1960. It provides Canadians with certain quasi-constitutional[3] rights at Canadian federal law in relation to other federal statutes. It was the earliest expression of human rights law at the federal level in Canada, though an Implied Bill of Rights had already been recognized in the Canadian Common Law.
The Canadian Bill of Rights remains in effect but is widely acknowledged to be limited in its effectiveness because it is federal statute only, and so not directly applicable to provincial law........
U.S. Navy frogmen successfully recovered the satellite Discoverer 13, marking the first retrieval of a satellite after twelve previous attempts had failed. Although …plans Echo 1, the first communications satellite, was successfully launched by NASA. Weighing 137 pounds, Echo was a 100-foot-diameter (30 m) Mylar balloon, inflated after it reached orbit when the Sun's heat converted powders inside the balloon into gas. A pre-recorded message from U.S. President Eisenhower was transmitted from Goldstone, California, bounced off of Echo, and received at a station in Holmdel, New Jersey.
The largest satellite launched up to that time, Echo was big enough that it could be seen from the Earth as it orbited at an average altitude of 1,000 miles to make the first mid-air capture failed, the recovery opened the era of the spy satellite…..
Mayor Richardson Dilworh says he is unconcerned to have perennial candidate for President Harold Stassen as a possible opponent again…in Scranton Mayor Hanlon says he may run again in 1961 and fifty eight years ago the number one song in LuLac land and America was “I’m Sorry” by Brenda Lee.

You have to give credit to the current White House for its high comedy value. For their token African-American staffer, they hired Omarosa, such a prominent civil rights leader that she's the only one known by just her first name. No one knows what she's supposed to do, or does, except provide the sole black face at those occasional photo opportunities where it's deemed to be advisable, but that's just Trump bringing in "only the best people." Oh, and she tapes White House conversations as a hobby. She may have no credibility, but the tape recorder does! Now the Trumpies know how Hillary Clinton felt having exposed what she thought were private conversations. (Too bad Comey didn't have the taping hobby.) You also have to enjoy the hypocrisy of supposedly having fired Omarosa due to "intergrity issues." I think we all know just how qualified this White House is when it comes to that. And to now call her a liar and lowlife! Finally, Trump and his people are dealing with a one of their own.

I had no idea that The Situation Room was used for informing non-security staffers like Omarosa that she was being fired. Why was she even in the room?
