MAYBE I’M AMAZED

MAYBE I’M AMAZED…..that this government shutdown could have been avoided very easily by President Trump is he just didn’t cave into the pressure of the Talk Show hosts of the right wing. The issue here is that this President just can’t make up his mind. The next time a Republican brings up Obama’s red line in the sand, I’m gonna tell them about what this guy did or didn't do to get this deal done.
MAYBE I’M AMAZED……that when all is said and done, the only Trump child by his first two marriages, will be the only one not tarnished by his corruption. I remember when the New York snobs went after Marla Maples (wife #2) as a less than but looks like she raised a daughter (Tiffany) with the smarts enough to stay out of subpoena land.
MAYBE I’M AMAZED……that we breath in 13 pints of air every minute.
MAYBE I’M AMAZED….that Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke is amazed himself that he might be under indictment for his tenure in the current administration. Zinke is facing several federal probes, including the "Montana land deal" in which a foundation of Zinke's and the chairman of energy firm Halliburton, David Lesar, were accused of wrongdoing in relation to a development project in Zinke's home town of Whitefish, Montana.. Nicole Ghio, a manager of Friends of the Earth, said in a statement that "Zinke's highly questionable ethics have finally caught up with him."  Only the best people, right Donald?
MAYBE I’M AMAZED….that so many white Americans make this statement that the country is changing and they (old white guys) will be in the minority soon. Here’s the deal. The country is comprised of 64% non Hispanic people, (translation: WHITES) 17% Hispanic/Latin, 12% African American and 6% Asian. Then all the other nationalities make up the rest. Two questions on this:
1. Why are they acting so aggrieved, even more so than actual minority groups?
2. Do they not realize that 64% is a majority?
MAYBE I’M AMAZED…..that 40% of twins invent their own language/
MAYBE I’M AMAZED….that it has been 30 years since the Chicago Bears faced off against the Philadelphia Eagles in the Fog Bowl. That game was incredible in the sense that a fog settled over Soldier Field. It was New Year’s Eve 1988 and Mike Ditka against Buddy Ryan. The Bears won. There’s a rematch later today. Go Foles!
MAYBE I’M AMAZED…..that people call Nancy Pelosi a career politician. She only came on the scene in 1986. Mitch McConnell has been there longer and she started her career at 47 after raising her children and being married to the same person for years. Those loudmouths criticizing her back a thrice married blowhard. I just think their  criticism of Pelosi is hysterical given their support Trump.
MAYBE I’M AMAZED…but not, that our Vice President is doing more to get the government back on track than his boss. Pence might be auditioning for the top job after the fall of Trump and both may not realize it.
MAYBE I’M AMAZED…pleasantly so that there is such a thing on line called Candywarehouse. Wow, it’s great but be careful. It can be addictive.
MAYBE I’M AMAZED…..that the name of the new bio on Babe Ruth by Jane Levy is called “The Big Fella”. Somewhere the late Terry McNulty who used that moniker on WARM Radio is smiling with amusement.
