WRITE ON WEDNESDAY

Dan Meuser’s decision to join the other 106 Republicans in supporting  an amicus brief to the Supreme Court to invalidate his, yours, and President Elect Biden’s votes in 2020 election us still has had ramifications.

This was a letter to the editor in The Citizens’ Voice that caught our eye.

DEFEAT MEUSER IN 2022

Editor: I want the citizens of Luzerne County to realize that their elected House representative signed a amicus brief to the Supreme Court to invalidate your votes in 2020 election so to put Donald Trump in office for four years.

Trump lost and U.S. Rep. Dan Meuser knows it. Meuser lost all credibility and was willing to take such an unconstitutional threat to our democracy to lick the boots or the worst president in modern history. What’s worse is he was willing to go along with ignoring what the people of Pennsylvania voted legally to change, our leadership from a criminal president who doesn’t care how many of us die while he golfs every day.

I would make sure that his constituents know how low he was willing to go and in 2022 will make it point to let them know he was willing to invalidate your votes and yoke us to an autocratic government. He’s already backtracking, saying there were questionable things in our vote counting as why he signed the crazy brief. These were already defeated in our state courts and he knows it.

In 2022, we need a good candidate to show how willing he would turn against his voters to appoint a losing candidate to office over the proper winner. If the Supreme Court had let this happen all future elections would not be accepted and our country would not be a democracy. Mr. Meuser has got to go in 2022.

Whether your candidate won or lost you need to accept the results if proven as legitimate. We can’t let a crooked politician take our votes away. Defeat Meuser in 2022 starting now.
