13 QUESTIONS

Our “13 Questions” logo.

1.       How have you been dealing with the heat all of last week?

I love it. The hotter the better. I even did yard work on that 90 degree Saturday.

 2.       Do you think the Biden administration should go it alone given the GOP obstruction?

Absolutely. They have done all they could to work with them. It is ironic to me that these are the same guys that voted tax cuts for the 1% and screwed the rest of the middle class. Now they talk about being fiscally conservative.

 3.       How do you think the trip to foreign countries the President is making going so far?

Good. I think Biden is restoring the important parts of the NATO and European alliances.

 4.       How do you think Biden will do with Putin?

He’ll stand his ground. Biden is a ballsy Irish guy from Scranton and will look him square in the eye and tell him the lap dog days of Trump are over. That stated, do not expect any great changes from this meeting. It will be part of a process.

5.       Did you see that photo with Trump’s pants on backwards?

I’m no defender of Trump heaven knows but that was obviously in my opinion photo shopped.

6.           Have you been to the movies in a theater lately and what was the last movie you saw?

Nope. I think the last two I saw were “Dunkirk” and that “Downtown Abbey” movie.

7.       What are your thoughts on the outdoor music venues opening up?

Great idea. It gives people the chance to enjoy the weather and stretch their legs.

 8.       Were you surprised by Luzerne County Manager Dave Pedri’s decision to resign?

Not really. In my dealings with Pedri he always expressed that government shouldn’t be a lifetime job. His tenure was marked by infrastructure improvements to the Courthouse, and professionalism and innovation at every level.

9.       So do you think Trump should have been impeached the first time too?

According to White House Counselor Don McGahn  yes. His  testimony behind closed doors confirmed that Trump lied when he denied the accuracy of Mueller's report and confirmed that McGahn was a source for a Washington Post story about Trump trying to remove Mueller.  McGahn had compared any effort to remove Mueller as comparable to the "Saturday Night Massacre" under former President Richard Nixon, who fired several top officials while he was under investigation for Watergate.

 10.   How do you rate Jon Fetterman’s chances to be the next Senator?

Very good. The Dems really have to stay in line and not deviate though because the GOP lie machine will be in full swing against him. John Fetterman web store – Fetterman Online Store

 11.    You’re a candy guy, best new fav for the summer?

Reese’s Peanut Butter on Peanut butter. Incredible. Only 210 calories too.

12.   Are you going without a mask these days?

At work and home yes. Not in stores though. Still wearing it.

13.   If you had to do without one, which would it be? Microwave or radio?

Microwave. Radio, even though it’s in a sad state these days is still long term entertainment vs short term cooking.
