1.    What are your thoughts on the GOP field for Governor so far?

It looks like a hot mess. A right wing hot mess. Whoever gets the nomination will be aided by the right wing political lie machine. Shapiro is the logical smartest choice but some voters are not. It will not be a cakewalk.The Luzerne County GOP was the first entity to endorse Lou Barletta so we'll see where that might take him. As a Congressman Lou had a grasp on his issues and explained them very well but with normal, moderate voters he's going to have to answer for his association with Trump.

 2.    Yonk you admitted voting for a Republican  with your piece on Bob Dole. Was it hard for you?

Not when the Republicans were normal and didn’t want to tear the government down. Now I cannot see ever voting for a Republican for President or national office.

3.    Thoughts on the new Luzerne County election director?

He’s very qualified, I’ll give him that. Tough job but I’m sure he’ll do well. But wait until he meets the fringe Republican in the county. That will be the true test.

4.    How are you doing on Christmas shopping?

Almost there. It’s going to be a gift card, book  and Kate Spade holiday.

5. Who do you think will replace Brian Williams on The 11th Hour?

Very tough act to follow. I think Chris Cuomo might be a controversial pick but would keep the audience.

6.   6.  I was reading that book on the Buoys and were surprised to see your name it. Did they contract you?

I was not contacted as were the other people listed. The research the author did was incredible. I had forgotten about my time as a music columnist for the Dispatch years ago. It was nice to be in that book by Max Furek called "Dream".

7.    Have you heard anything from John Webster since he retired? 

Not personally. He’ll post sporadically on Facebook but that’s about it.

7 Do you think the GOP will take the House? 

Too early to tell. But the Dems have to call out fakers like Meuser and Keller if they dare to take credit for  the Infrastructure bill when they voted NO! .

8.    Do you think Rudy Giuliani was lying about getting 900 death in threats?

What Rudy lie?

9.                      What did you think of Jill Biden defending her husband’s mental state? 

So glad she did. Biden’s mind is filled with facts and information that surpasses the previous guy's. They can’t have it both ways, he can’t be a mastermind screwing our country or a babbling idiot that drools. You can’t have it both ways.

10.                        Are you happy with the recent Hall of Fame Veteran voting?

Absolutely. The way they have structured this gives players who were by passed in the 50s and 60s a chance to be recognized. Gil Hodges and Jim Kaat as well as buck O’Neil we’re good picks but i really want to see Roger Maris and Dick Allen there too.

                11. The Supreme Court said that if people in Texas had an issue with their abortion law they can sue. Thoughts? 

They are spineless political hacks. It pains me to say that since I’ve always respected the court.

12.                       Best Christmas meal. Eve or day?

Eve hands down!
