1.  What is your take on the Senator Fetterman suit controversy?

Well. you’re asking a guy who has in his closet “a knock around” suit.  But I think he has followed the rules by voting to the side when dressed in casual clothes. I’ve always been a “time and place” guy and live by that. But I don’t make judgements on what other people wear. 

 

2.  For a while there LuLac was only publishing once a week. Will that be the norm now?

No. We were just deciding what to do when we were closing in on 5,000 editions. End it? Podcast it? Keep it? We decided to keep going mainly because as I stated on WILK it’s okay for people to have an opinion but not an alternative reality. 

 

3.  Gavin Newsom’s pick to replace Diane Feinstein? 

 

He couldn’t pick anyone who was living in the state? Really? She’s living and voting in Maryland. 

 

4.  Do you play the Powerball and the Mega Millions?

Yes only when its big and unattainable, just like many of the women I’ve chased over the years. 

 

5.  The Luzerne County Council race. Do the Democrats have a chance in winning some seats?

Yes they do. They are running an aggressive campaign that is unified.

 

6.   How do you see the Commissioner’s race in Lackawanna county going?

I think the Democrats Matt McGuian and Billy Gaughan will win handily with Chris Cermak staying in the minority.

 

7.  Who are you rooting for in the baseball playoffs?

Philly, Toronto, Texas and Baltimore. Two out of 4 wasn't bad. Now it's Phillies ALL THE WAY. 

 

8.   What are your thoughts on President Biden’s age?

I think I’d rather have a person that old in charge rather than a mad man like Trump who is clearly exhibiting some real mental health issues. Biden on his worst day is way better than Trump and his grievances. 

 

9.  Jimmy Carter at 99. Will history judge him well?

 

Absolutely, especially now. One term Presidents who were defeated, Herbert Hoover, Gerald Ford, George Herbert Walker Bush and Carter will all have a leg up just because of the way they conceded defeat. They were men who did that with dignity and respect unlike the big baby who is in a world of legal hurt right now.

 

10.                   Will Kevin McCarthy remain speaker? 

 

We know the answer to that but maybe, just maybe he can get a do over. The GOP is a joke and like the Luzerne County Republicans CAN'T GOVERN.

 

11.                   I know you’ve done a tremendous job with weight loss. But what is your fast food go to now? 

 Taco Bell, bean burrito and taco with no lettuce. Whooper Junior no lettuce. Mcd’s, Sausage McGriddle.I’ll give in maybe once every 6 weeks to one of those. 

 

12.                    You’re a Packer fan. I hear the guy who designed the logo died. Know anything about that?

 

The guy’s name was John Gordon. The Packers had their training facility at St. Norbert’s in Wisconsin and in 1961 Gordon was an assistant equipment manager. He was told Vince Lombardi wanted a logo for the team. The coach had the idea to have a G in the shape of a football. It was then introduced and became one of the most iconic logos in sports. Gordon was elected to the Packers sports hall of fame. He died two weeks at the age of 83 from complications of Alzheimer’s.

 

13.                   Any plans to watch any more GOP Presidential debates?

No, they are a waste of time.
