1, Your blog has now entered its 19^th year. Did you ever think that you’d still be publishing it?

To be honest, no. I was ready to turn it into a fashion blog for plus sized men after Hillary won the election. But she didn’t and then in ’19 I lost 105 pounds which I kept off so that idea went to hell, it’s to the point now where I can’t stop.  Like a habit.

 

2.   Do you think anything can derail Trump?

Himself. But people must validate their pique with him and turn that into votes. Now he’ll yell and scream that it’s corrupt again but that’s all blather.

 

3. What is the first thing the Dems should do if they control the House and Senate in the next cycle?

Make sure they undo his damage, make sure they have the votes, none of this Joe Manchin, Sinema shit) and them impeach his ass. Suffer Vance and then throw his ass out too. An ally in this can be Vance.

 

4. You’ve written before that women are their own worst enemies. Do you stand by that and have examples?

Well sure. All you need to do is look to the House with Nancy Mance and Majorie Taylor Green. They’re freaking crazy so-called victims who make the House a cesspool of ignorance.

 

5. Do the Democrats in Luzerne County have a chance at winning control on the County Council?

Absolutely. They must rid the county of wanna be MAGAs. Everything that is being downsized and taken away by the Trump administration was endorsed by every single Republican that is now on County Council. They are accessories to all the terrible cuts to health and welfare in this county.

 

6. Any interest in the NBA playoffs?

Always at playoff time. Hoping the Knicks advance further. Last night's game was incredible.

 

7. Are you turning into a Canadian citizen or what with your blog postings?

Not really although I do have relatives on my mom’s side from Canada. Years ago, I met all of them and enjoyed touring the Big 8 CKLW while I was staying in Windsor. I’ve been working out since late January at a facility and listen to 740AM Toronto and 530AM Owen’s Landing on my phone. So, I’ve been exposed to Canadian news programs in the morning before going to work. That had coincided with Trump’s ridiculous assertion that Canada should be the 51^st state. I’ve got to tell you that Canadians are pissed. They have taken America products off the shelves, are doing their own trade deals, stopped travel to the states and like Americans but hate Trump. The fact that 57% of Canadians have college degrees tell you that unlike ignorant uneducated American MAGAs, they are nut buying Trump’s shit. So, I’m not going anywhere just yet but just giving a perspective on how Trump’s show is playing in the provinces. It is regarded as a shit show, which in reality is an insult to shit shows everywhere.Check out this link on where they stand.

8. How many Popes have you seen in your lifetime?

With the newest one, 8. It was Pius XII, John 23^rd, Paul 6^th, John Paul 1, John Paul 2, Benedict XVI. Francis and now this one from the south side of Chicago, Leo the 14th.

 

9. Does Scranton Mayor Paige Cognetti have an issue with her opponent Bob Sheridan?

 

I don’t think so, but you must wonder why State Senator Marty Flynn seems to be backing Sheridan.

 

10. Have you ever been to a play and if offered a part what would you consider?

When I was in the 8^th grade I starred in a play written by my classmate Paul Komensky. I remember the date, May 19^th, on a Sunday. That was the only time I was on stage. The only role I would have ever considered was playing Uncle Teddy in “Arsenic & Old Lace” maybe when I was younger and more mobile. But the phone isn’t ringing on that one.

 

11. What is your feeling about the Luzerne County GOP leadership in the last few years?

I’m not involved with them but from afar I see a diminution of true Republican values that we all grew up with. After the decision of Pribula/Valenti’s administration of resigning, the party is partisan, rudderless, and just plain stagnant. They have no message even when protesting. All you hear are bull horns and no reasonable discourse. Except for Lombardo and Wolovich, all the rest are lost.

 

12. Ever play any golf?

Once but I’m thinking of buying an indoor putting green.

 

13. Best anchor of network news in your lifetime?

That is very, very hard to determine. But you must go with Cronkite followed closely by Huntley and Brinkley. My two favs though were John Chancellor and Frank McGee.
