1. What did you think of Greg Abbott’s remark that his Trump inspired scheme to take more seats away in the Texas legislature is giving voters of a certain philosophy a chance to vote their beliefs?
Oh my God! I can’t wait for this thug’s next justification for Trump’s request. First, they can vote for whomever they want no matter what their philosophy. The fact that this fascist pig sex obsessed “soldier of Christ” (remember he banned sex toys-like what was his deal with that???) has to realize that 60% of Texas I now not the color of his skin. So he’s a racist too.
A lawyer who should
know better has to realize you can’t get the federal government involved in a
state matter. But Texas jug heads keep putting this sycophant in.
2. Why do you think Trump wants another census?
Well he’s excluding anyone not a citizen. So how the fuck is he going to keep track of illegal immigration? He slashed people off the payroll in his DOGE purge. So where’s he going to get the manpower? This just goes to show you that he does not think things out.
3. You changed your mind on Netanyahu recently. Are you now against Isreal?
I will never be against Isreal. But we all need to remember that two major world leaders are crooks. Bebe has been investigated for years and like Trump uses public office to keep from going to jail. Think of it this way and I admit this is pretty visceral. I see the starving babies, I see people getting gunned down for a piece of bread and you know what I wonder about? How can Netanyahu eat his dinner knowing that kids, kids are dying? My only solace to this situation is that he will burn in hell one day and I won’t mind it a bit I he runs into a mustached guy down there named ‘Dolf.
4. Thought on the Guardian’s Emmanual Clase being put on paid leave for betting?
Really stupid. Plus these bets are specialty ones and are tracked all the time. There is a possibility he can be sanctioned not only this season but next. The only defuse I think he might have is if he says he was manipulated by others.
5. Okay smart guy. I was at the kielbasa festival and want to know what’s better, smoked or fresh?
Smoked travels well on its own and you can eat it cold with mustard or horseradish. I also like it with an omelet. Now the fresh is great with kraut but when it cools, the fat congeals. But let me put it to you this way. If the two types of kilobase were my children, I’d love them equally, each for their diversity.
6. What is going on in this world? People in beautiful mansion like homes killing their kid, a guy shaking a baby to death because he won ’stop crying, what can we do?
First thank God for our lives as troubling as they might be. Second punish these “big men” with the same thing they did to their children. But don’t kill them. About once a month in a prison cell, give them a god beat down. It’ll knock some sense into them and give his fellow prisoners a little physical fitness.
7. How much do Texas legislators make vs Pennsylvania’s?
Texas pays $500.00 a month, Pennsylvania gets an average salary of $110.000 a year. But they are full time legislators as opposed to that great, sainted, democracy loving American (NOT) state of Texas.
8. The Trump administration has lifted all guard rails on climate change. Thoughts?
Well, I’m not going to be around for the fall out. But I go by the numbers. Currently in the last few years we have had 20 days in the above 90-degree designation. By 2040 scientists in Canada estimate that total will increase to 27. They are a much colder nation than the United States. Nothing in science tells me that is not going to decrease.
9. The Yankees have an Old Timer’s game for the first time since 2019, and Rivera gets hurt with an Achilles tendon injury. Bad omen?
I don’t think it’s an omen but there will be talk of reverting back to the talk show format that was used the last few years. I don’t know what Rivera’s physical regimen was but I’m told that the injury happens when your body involuntarily does a u turn. The prevalence of them the last two years though is interesting in the age range and if course the numbers. As far as that omen thing, if the current players keep losing, that bad omen will be really bad (despite his two-year contract extension) for Aaron Boone.
10. Gianna Galli on WBRE/WYOU in the morning. Good call?
Absolutely. She is a class act, good reporter, down to earth and a homegrown commodity. Plus, she likes to research her stories and learn. I’m glad the station chose to hire from within because there have been too many institutions in this area that hire from out of town and let local talent sometimes wither on the vine or leave. Then when the ones who leave wind up on CNN or Fox, the “brain trusts” are slapping their foreheads in wonder.
11. Do you play Power Ball? We saw you at Wegman’s at the Customer Service desk buying a ticket. BTW my wife says you have sexy legs.
I don’t play the Power Ball or Mega anymore. But I do play Cash 5 and Pick 6. I figure the odds are better and I don’t want to have the hassle of being a millionaire. It changes people.
As far as your wife’s comments, a few things. Tell her thank you and be rest assured that those stems are the ONLY thing sexy on this body.
12. Have you ever heard the term “he took a heart attack”?
I have and I think it’s a Pittston thing.
13. Why do you insist on calling yourself a Roman Catholic instead of just saying like the rest of the world “I’m a Christian”?
Okay it all started with the Westboro Baptist church going to military funerals and protesting the moral decay of society. They were essentially interrupting a service for a person who fought for this country.
Today I can’t be a “Christian” when masked thugs target people arrest and put them in detention.
I can’t identify as a “Christian” when bloated billionaires have more money than one person needs and at the same time take away Medicaid (aka health care) from working poor.
I can’t identify as a “Christian” when leaders we have today demonize and lie about nationalities because of their color.
I can’t identify as a “Christian” when we have a President who promotes bullying and vile barbs towards his opponents, real or imaginary.
I can’t be a “Christian” when people are starving, and we do nothing to move the needle.
I can’t be a “Christian” when people who know better, fall in line with a philosophy because it personally benefits them.
I have one exception, for 40 minutes a weekend when I go to my church. I’ll be a full fledged Christian THEN. But once that Mass ends, I'm a Roman Catholic.
