              1. DONALD TRUMP TAKES OFFICE FOR THE SECOND TIME….For the second d time in the nation’s history Donald Trump was inaugurated to a non consecutive second term. Trump vowed to make god on all his campaign promises that essential became other news items in this turbulent year.

2.              PARDON POWER: Trump used the power of the pardon to completely exonerate the Capitol Hill rioters. He also used the pardon process to clear the records of his cronies and it looks like anyone who praised him and requested one.

3.              ICE….NOT SO NICE: Trump began a crackdown on immigration utilizing Homeland Security. Trump had said he wanted to deport the racists, crazies and criminals but that has only made up 7% of the population. Masked ICE agents have pounced on people who  are community members, waiting to get hearings as well as naturalized citizens. It is a scatter shot approach to people who are paying taxes, have no criminal records and are now in fear for their verry existence.

4.              TARIFFS AND LIBERATION DAY: Trump introduced his tariff plan claiming it would bring billions of dollars to the economy. He strong armed countries, then gave them exemptions. It was a haphazard approach and to this day can’t be documented for success or failure. The bottom line here is that the American people are getting a double whammy. Prices on goods are higher   and the charges of the tariffs are passed on to said consumer.

5.              TRUMP SLASHES FOREIGN AID: Trump got rid of funding for the USAID program. Trump also slashed other funding for vital programs in the international arena. The issue here was that contracts were signed and allocations that were on the way were stopped.

6.              ELAN AND DOGE: Trump let Elan Musk loose when it came to cutting federal government spending. He called it an efficiency program but in effect it was counterproductive. Millions were laid off, and vital service these people performed resulted in chaos. The Clinton/Gore administration did a restructuring effort and they studied it at first. Not here. Musk was later jettisoned by Trump when the going got too tough.

7.              TRUMP, ZELENSKYY AND PUTIN: Trump swore he could end the war in Ukraine but that hasn’t happened. After humiliating ZelENSKYY in the Oval Office and kissing Putin’s ass in a farce of a summit, there is no movement toward peace. This past weekend there was optimism for a nano second but then Putin started bombing Kiev and throwing people out of their homes into the cold.

8.               TRUMP’S GOLD FETISH: Trump has adorned the Oval Office which was business like and beautiful in its simplicity into a modern gold studded set off of QVC. He then moved on with reckless abandon to gut the East Wing with no permission and no plans.

9.              TRUMP AND FARMERS: Trump has screwed the farmers with promises of a big sale to China but that hasn’t happened. Money promised to the farmers from the Ag Department hasn’t yet transpired and farmers now can’t get loans from banks.

10.       TRUMP TO PEOPLE: IT’S GREAT! In  tone deaf speech to the nation, Trump said the American economy was doing just fine and scolded the American people in  loud voice hoping he could make it so. To be clear, Trump might think he’s god but in reality the record shows he is not.
