Through Sept. 7, Cracker Barrel customers who buy a qualifying kid’s meal and a qualifying adult entrée will get a free collectible toy from B’loonie Petz. If they’d rather pick their own toy, they can get a $5 off coupon for another toy item in the restaurant’s store.

 

CHIPOTLE

Sept. 6 as part of its “Chipotle Sundays Reset” campaign. Here’s the deal: Customers who order two or more entrées after 3 p.m. local time on the chain’s app/website will score a free entrée with the code SUNDAYS.

 

 

KRISPY KREME LAUNCHES POKÉMON DOUGHNUTS

 

Krispy Kreme’s latest doughnut collection is giving us a major dose of nostalgia.

To celebrate Pokémon’s 30th anniversary (how is that possible?!), the doughnut chain is releasing six new sweet treats inspired by the franchise’s beloved characters.

On Tuesday, Aug. 18, Krispy Kreme will debut doughnuts featuring Pikachu, Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle and Jigglypuff, plus a bonus Poké Ball Doughnut.

 

ANNIE’S NEW MAC & CHEESE FLAVORS

 

Annie’s, a subsidiary of General Mills, Inc., has added two new varieties to its macaroni and cheese product portfolio.

The new varieties include Super! Mac Dill Pickle Mac & Cheese, which combines the taste of dill pickle with the taste of macaroni and cheese in addition to containing 14 grams of protein and 5 grams of fiber per serving, and Macaroni & Grilled Cheese Mac & Cheese, which features “Real American cheese and notes of browned butter,” the company said.

“One of the things we love most about mac and cheese is that it’s both comforting and endlessly customizable,” said Ben Myers, business unit director for Annie’s. “From fun, unexpected flavors to comforting classics, we’re always dreaming up delicious new ways to enjoy one of our most-loved favorites. With Dill Pickle Super! Mac, we’re pairing one of today’s boldest flavor trends with nearly double the protein and fiber of our regular mac and cheeses, giving consumers a new way to enjoy the comfort they love with added nutrition.”

Super! Mac Dill Pickle Mac & Cheese is now available online through Target, Walmart and Amazon while Macaroni & Grilled Cheese Mac & Cheese is now available at Target and will be available at other US retailers later this year.

 

HERSHEY’S NEW CREAM BARS

 

The Hershey Co. is launching Hershey’s Creme Bars, a chocolate bar with creme filling.

The bars are available in salted caramel and affogato varieties.
