MAYBE I’M 

AMAZED

MAYBE I’M AMAZED…. but not that Trump never touched the Bible when he was sworn in. I wonder how those evangelicals who traded in their religious beliefs to side with this guy feel. It really tells you something about them and their commitment to God. Their lips are moving but their hearts are frozen.

MAYBE I’M AMAZED……that the out fit the first lady wore made her look like Natasha from the Bullwinkle series.

MAYBE I’M AMAZED…. that more people are not raising the question that Merrick Garland not Joe Biden brought Trump back. For AG, Biden brought in a Judge of twenty years. Judges deliberate. Biden should have picked a prosecutor. A person who after January 6^th would launch an inquiry. Garland was one hue mistake. And Biden was trying to be too pure by thinking he was on a high moral ground.

MAYBE I’M AMAZED……. that when the time is right at night, AM 530 comes in loud and clear. CFOS AM is a music station from Ontario and the decline of the WARM 590 frequency makes that station come in loud and clear some nights.

MAYBE I’M AMAZED……. that author Washington Irving claimed George Washington started the tradition of adding “So help me God” at the oath’s end. There is no direct evidence of that. Others believe Chester Alan Arthur used the words when he took the oath after James Garfield died.

MAYBEI’M AMAZED…. that President Biden and his Vice President had to sit through 25 minutes of Trump’s attacks on everything they fixed. Better people than I.

MAYBE I’M AMAZED……. that there is no set rule to taking an oath on the Bible. John Quincy Adams did not take his oath on a Bible. Adams used a law book instead that contained the Constitution.

MAYBE I’M AMAZED……that no matter how the Eagles and Bills win, their critics say they should have done better. I mean a win, is a win. I guess the fans do not remember   the 4-12 seasons of the old.

MAYBE I’M AMAZED…. that the Veep takes a different oath. The vice president takes his or her oath before the president and it is a bit longer. “I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter: So help me God.”

MAYBE I’M AMAZED……that there are so many people trying to throw Biden under the bus regarding all of this. Was age a factor? Yes, but people forget we now have a 78-year-old President who has no moral compass or redeeming qualities. That is so much more dangerous than anything Biden have done when he had power even in what they claim was diminished capacity.

MAYBE I’M AMAZED………that it is now okay for people to attack police and et away with it. If crime goes up, it is not because of immigration but because of Trump’s pardoning of 1600 unpatriotic cult members.
