1.          Do you think the Democrats can carry Texas in the Senatorial contest?

I don’t trust Texas until I see a Blue vote there. We’ve been down this road so many times before since 1994. I’m hopeful but wouldn’t be shocked if the GOP’s Ken Paxton holds on.

 

2.          Have you ever met Don Mattingly and do you think he got a raw deal from the Phils.

Yes.Met him at a card shoe in the 80s with Dwight Gooden. Very classy and friendly. On the Phils, he was interim because I think they have their sights on Alex  Cora. But that didn’t work out, did it? These managers are getting paid so much that they can afford to siot out a year or two.  His son is the GM so I think there will be a place for him.

 

3.          Your site seems to be on fire these days, surprised?

A little bit. It appears that this election year is one of the most consequential of my lifetime. I know I say that all the time but I think there has to be a back stop as to whether Trump can be stopped.

 

4.          Governor Shapiro vs. Stacey Garritty. Any contest?

No. Shapiro has by and large done a god job and has really promoted his entire administration. Plus his website is bipartisan. It regularly features the programs of Attorney General Dave Sunday as well as State Auditor General Tim LaFloor. So the criticism that he is spending money to promote himself has no resonance.

 

5.          What do you think of Trump asking for the Nobel Peace prize again?

He is a ridiculous buffoon. He claims he ended 8 wars but has yet to end the one that is strangling America.

 

6.          You are very good on TV. What is your biggest concern before air time?

Knowing the subject matter, being concise as well as not burping. Other than that, it’s like talking to a family member in a room. Except that you can’t think that 2 million people in a 22-county area will be watching.

 

7.          I know you’re a Packer fan but don’t you wish you were a Cleveland Browns fans?

LOL. They are doing well and I think that they and the Raiders will be a big surprise. The NFL is very fluid and proves that every day can be an unpredicted adventure.

 

8.          What is the worst thing about this election?

The lies. That’s what bothers me the most. The Republican party is devoid of integrity. There is NO HONOR. They make stuff up as they go along. When caught, they attack.

 

9.          I was told there might be a loophole for Trump if he tries for a third term. What do you think?

That’s too far away for me to even think about. I’m more concerned that the guy doesn’t try to nullify the results of this election. He has the stones to do it and the ass kissers who will implement it. But if he does try, (if he’s alive by then) it wouldn’t surprise me.

 

10.      Do you think Trump has some kind of disease except narcissism?

As I used to say when I worked at Campbell’s, “I am not a medical professional” but I do have a friend who is and he claims he sees all the symptoms of tertiary syphilis.

 

11.      What’s the first thing you look at in the newspaper?

LOL. It used to be baseball standings but now it’s the obits.

 

12.      What is your favorite Halloween candy?

Chunky, Victoria’s Pumpkin Spice and Hershey Dark.

 

13.      Favorite Law and Order Female character of all time?

Easy. Steaphanie March. Bobby Flay was a fool to let her go.
