Take note when they ask you for your support at the polls on Election Day. I guarantee they won't be hiding then!

I think it is really a shame that the incumbent candidates feel the need to hide from the issues. The taxpayers deserve better than that and they will and should not vote for any of them on November 6th. I feel Rick Cronauer didnt show up because he doesnt want to answer the question about his relationship with the current administration. He is Greg Barrouks Father in Law and therefore another "Yes Man" to the Mayor if elected. The idea is to stop him from being elected by electing Walter Griffith. Walter is a very knowledgable person that has shown to the people that he will stand for what is in the best interest of the Taxpayers.
The taxpayers in District B,C,D, should all vote for the people that were at the last 3 "Meet the Candidate" forums as far as District E is concerned, Mike Merritt has displayed that he is just another one of the Good Ol Boys and will vote for everything the Mayor asks him. He stated that the Mayor is worth 80,000.00 per year because he works so hard, give me a break. The administration is well over paid and needs to be sent packing. Tony Thomas and Kathy Kane are just putting in their time until they can get their chance to run for Mayor as well. Bill Barrett is sitting on a 140,000.00 per year salary and pension from City Hall already with his wife's income from the City Hall job she holds so he is just sitting there and collecting the money and doing nothing for the taxpayer either. We need a big time shake down in City Hall. Lets show them that on Nov 6th we the people are not afraid of you and want to take our City back and clean it up.

The only Dem I'd ever consider voting for would be Mike Merritt. Judging from what you wrote, the guy stands by his convictions. He told the truth as he saw it, obviously disagreeing with the others...and you know what? He didn't get booed, and from my view didn't get hurt politically. It's all about the leadership and right now if this were a city wide vote, I'd vote for the GOP and Merritt. At least they have the caljones to show up!
Urban is happy to be 3rd banana- Hence his monkey-buddy from elections past trying to sink Bill Jones so Urban finishes 3rd. As much as I dislike Skrep, he hits the nail on the head describing Urban- all noise, no action or ideas. I'm still waiting for him to show up in my neighborhood to "talk" as he explains why he's not at the courthouse. Guessing he's just harmless enough to keep around. (edited post)
