WILK SUBS

While Kevin Lynn vacations in sunny Jamaica, two prominent opinion makers will be sitting in on WILK'S Morning News with Nancy Kman. Monday, Dr. Joe Leonardi former Congressional candidate in the 11th district will be commenting on the news and on Tuesday, Vince Sweeney, a prospective candidate in this year's 10th district race will lend his insights into the current scene. Both men will lend a good perspective into the politics of the day, Leonardi who made a past run and Sweeney who opted out of any consideration this year will certainly have some thoughts worth hearing. The Morning News with Nancy and Kevin is heard Monday through Friday from 6am to 9am on WILK 980, 910, 1300 AM and 103.1 FM.

PRESIDENTIAL YEAR SUPER BOWLS

If you are looking for a trend in politics and football, I'm afraid Super Bowls in Presidential years won't give you any added info for either politics or the pigskin. In Presidential election years, the NFC won 6 (Green Bay-68, Dallas-72, Washington-88-92, Dallas-96 and the Rams-00) and the AFC won 4 (Pittsburgh-76-80, Oakland-84, New England-04). Like I said, no trends here, just trivia. I have been fortunate to have been around for all of them 9the Super Bowls) and am constantly impressed with the growth of its popularity. To my readers, have a great time watching this unique American spectacle. The big game will be a perfect prelude to Super Tuesday.

Hey Dave...

Unless something has changed, and they didn't get the info to me, I've been under the impression that my time on WILK with Nancy Kman will be THURSDAY, not Tuesday. Maybe we both need to double check this. I've never pulled a no-show, and sure wouldn't want to start now!

Remember the Super Bowl Parties in Moscow? Oh ya, you wrote about one in your novel.

AS THE KIDS SAY, "MY BAD!!!" NO, YOU'RE SET FOR THURSDAY, BOB CORDARO IS UP FOR TUESDAY. SORRY ABOUT THAT.

Your topic WILK subs was intriguing. A WILK sub consists of cheesey comments, stale celebreties way past their prime and a whole lot of baloney!
