Patriots
Patriotism has come to mean different things to different people. Its not "my country right or wrong", of that I'm sure. And its has little or nothing to do with a flag on a pole or one attached to a garment. Soldiers do not die for a flag, they die for the soldier next to them and maybe for their country. Every death deserves to be honored even those which might be thought unnecessary. Everyone who ever served deserves a special respect.
Those who side with the government line and those who oppose it, can both be Patriots. Seems to me we lose track of these things all too often. In the end I think a Patriot is an individual who stands up for what he believes is best for his country and is wiling to put his ass on the line for what he believes.
