The LuLac Edition #2045, May 5th, 2012

Ronald Reagan even celebrated Cinco De Mayo.

 CINCO DE MAYO

Cinco de Mayo (Spanish for "fifth of May") is a celebration held on May 5. It is celebrated nationwide in the United States and regionally in Mexico, primarily in the state of Puebla, where the holiday is called El Día de la Batalla de Puebla (English: The Day of the Battle of Puebla). The date is observed in the United States as a celebration of Mexican heritage and pride, and to commemorate the cause of freedom and democracy during the first years of the American Civil War. In the state of Puebla, the date is observed to commemorate the Mexican army's unlikely victory over French forces at the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862, under the leadership of General Ignacio Zaragoza Seguín.Contrary to widespread popular belief, Cinco de Mayo is not Mexico's Independence Day—the most important national patriotic holiday in Mexico—which is actually celebrated on September 16. Students,
A happy Cinco De Mayo!!! Once again, Mr. Yonki has garnered an A+ due to his outstanding research--something I wish you layabouts would take a lesson from.

The business of this classroom goes forward.....

Students, once again your esteemed Professor's rating on the prediction meter has stayed solid. I told you all last month that "this" months (actually April's) job numbers would be sorely disappointing. Of course, the talking heads in the media all were touting high tide and green grass for the economy this year. I regret to inform you, that I was correct.

Continuous growth of over 300 to 400 thousand jobs monthly would have doomed Governor Romney's hopes of election. Of course, I, from doing extensive non partisan research have concluded long ago that the numbers of January and February, which were astoundingly optimistic, would not hold very long in future months. In short, this Presidential election is basically OVER.

Now, getting to the subject of Afghanistan. We went into Afghanistan for an honorable purpose. To root out Al Qaeda and bring true democracy to that haggard part of the world. I believe that the decision of the Administration to cut and run is the wrong one. I have the perfect solution to solvign the Afghan dilemma.

We need to return to the military draft. We need to attain the best and brightest young minds into the military service. And also, the best braun. IN doing so, we must undertake a D-Day type invasion of that country. Perhaps two or three million Infantrymen, Marines along with proper air cover. Had we done this in Vietnam, Ho Chi Minh city would have been restored to the name its people intended from the beginning, Saigon.

Will it happen in this Administration....NO. But I am holding out hopes for the Romney Administration. It will cost money, but it will be money well spent.

We cannot spare the horror of another 9/11.
Something to think about this morning....
Class Dismissed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My dearest "Professor", the American people disagree with you.

http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/latest_polls/

Virginia: Obama 51, Romney 44 (Obama+7)
Ohio: Obama 44, Romney 42 (Obama +2)
Pennsylvania: Obama 47, Romney 39 (Obama +8)

If the election is indeed over, as you claim, then President Obama is the winner.

Oh and one other thing, "Professor", Obama is leading Romney in those states, and others, by larger polling numbers than he was leading McCain at this time four years ago. Something for you to think about.

Finally, remember in LuLac edition 1906 when you responded to an earlier comment of mine, retorting about my futile attempt to locate information about you to see if your claims of being a professor were legitimate? You said that I and others should, quote, "do your google searches and attain my past lectures which go back many years. I suggest you read my 2008 election coverage and tell me that my predictions were not correct.

Well, I did. I used 6 variations of the name "Milburn Cleaver", scanned through educational directories, and, again, the only online mentions of you that the most extensive and comprehensive search engine on the planet could come up with are your comments on blogs.

So, please, provide links to these supposed lectures and political predictions you made as a "professor".

Casey Evans

Oh, and PS -- You also commented the following to me: "I give you kudos for your efforts but an F for your output---coming to a final grade of D-." Just so you know, "Professor", getting a D- in your "class" is like getting an A+ at life. Have a wonderful evening :)

Professor,
There is an old adage about the man who sat in the back of the room. Everyone in the room thought the man was dumb because he never spoke, then he opened his mouth and everyone knew for sure.

Professor,

It will take a cultural shift to begin to reinvent men to aspire to "the best braun".
The US male has been wussified and *ussyfied by the feminist PC crowd.
The US male has been brainwashed and "sensitized" to believe that any display of "braun is wrong".
The US male must subjegate the drive to survive and dominate his surroundings. This drive has been ingrained in the male species since the beginning.
By injecting the female species via political law and regulation in the name of diversity and equality into the dominately male arenas, we have diluted the skill and talent required to dominate that arena.
The fact that there is so little push back validates this conclusion. Sad.

The Professor is exhibiting early signs of Alzheimers, and I urge him to get what care he can. To think Mr. Magic Underwear has a real chance of defeating the President who killed the world's most wanted terrorist in the first term of his Presidency, when the great decider couldn't do it in two, is to be seriously deluded.

GOPers are criticizing the Obama Administration for overplaying the Bin Ladin Death Anniversary.
I don’t see celebrating a death, but in this case I understand. Of course it is being used
politically. Its an election year after all and the President needs some achievement acknowledgement
press that’s for sure.
I cant help but wonder what the Mission Accomplished Machine would have done
at the time and now. The President could have landed on a carrier with the corpse in tow and danced a
jig across the deck with the cast of Dancing With the Stars a year ago, but he didn’t. Actually it was pretty low key.
Had Bin Laudin been killed with Bush/Cheney in power, the sky was the limit and Flight Suites the uniform of the day!
The Tin Man ( He finally got a Heart) Deferrement Dick would be on the Talk Show circuit touting his new book,
“We Got Him”, the inside story of Butch and Sundance (George and Dick or would it be Dick and George) and
the hunt and killing of the baddest of the bad with our heroes right there in the compound firing the fatal shot at exactly
the same moment from pearl handled Colt 45s.
Truth is it took years to get him. Too many. But in the end, Mission Accomplished.

I am not a conspiracy advocate, but I am almost 65 years old and have been around many blocks. I don’t believe
Lee Oswald acted alone and I do believe there was more than one shooter in the Ambasador Hotel kitchen in 1968.
That said, I think we have been had by the Chinese. I don’t think Chen escaped. I think he believes he did, but I
think it is more likely that he was allowed to get away. The plan was and is to weaken the US bargaining position
in the Hillary Clinton meetings! They knew he would get to our Embassy. We have conflicting reports as to what
went on there. A He says, We say situation. The plan was hatched when Clinton mentioned him by name in a speech
a while back.
He may or may not have changed his mind and I don’t doubt that his family has been put thru hell and is in danger, but now
he is demanding/asking to leave China on Mrs Clintons plane with his family! Is he being manipulated now to make such an
absurd request? Or is he just over the top? I am inclined to believe the former, but the fact is it is becoming more difficult
by the minute all around and that works to China’s advantage. It looks bad and gives the Republicans and the Far Left a
chance to accuse President Obama of cowardice in the line of fire. What are we supposed to do? Kidnap him? Make a daring
rescue? I’m a strong proponent of Human Rights, but I don’t believe we are or should act like the Worlds Policeman. We
are in enough trouble right now with that attitude! The timing here is just too convenient. I have little faith in our CIA. They are probably as fouled up as the Secret Service and as stupidly arrogant! I believe we have been had and either way we lose. If I’m right it will never come out or I’ll be long gone when it does, but just think about it.

RE: Young Mr. Evans,
I enjoyed your little rant, but again you fail to see the forest for the trees (a common trait of your generation).
Obviously, your research skills are lacking but I must again stress the fact that you did not REPUDIATE my prediction of April's dismal job numbers.
One of the great traits of a person on the losing end of the battle is to change the subject and your efforts have once again failed.
For spirit and youthful arrogance, I give your essay a C; for content you receive a F....in other words, either shape up or you will be forced to repeat this course....hopefully in some under some other poor Professor's tutilage.
You are DISMISSED young man!!!!!!!!!!!

"Professor",

You're absolutely right -- so don't change the subject! I didn't mention jobs numbers, I called you out for being wrong in your election prediction, because the polls disagree with you. I also asked you to provide proof that you gave these "lectures" and such back in 2008 that you called "predictions that came true" or some such nonsense.

You called my research skills "lacking" since I couldn't find any evidence at all of your claims, but maybe, you're just a liar. Hear it now, I am calling you, and your personal honor, out: either provide proof that you made such lectures and predictions by providing for us the links/urls verifying your status as a professor/lecturer, or, it will be known from this point on that you are, in fact, a fraud, which will taint anything you have to say in the future.

Thanks and have a great night, "Professor"!! :-)

Young Mr. Evans, your harsh and insulting attitude strains my credulity.
If in fact, you are unable, or unqualified to do your research properly, and shall admit your unintelligence in doing so, then and only then shall I assist you.
Your harsh words do not touch my heart.
However,
the fact that a student of mine cannot even do simple research does. There is more to life than "google' searches, youngster.

There is a place where there are many books, periodicals, etc. I know that to your slacker generation it is almost unfathomable to take the time to visit it, but it is there.

It is called a LIBRARY...I suggest you go there.

You are DISMISSED!!!!!!!!!!!
