Good morning Students,

As I see you are all present and I detect no physical harm to your bodies, I can only surmise that you either won big on your football bets this past weekend or managed to convince your various bookies to accept a partial payment. I myself enjoyed another wonderful short vacation in sunny F.L.A.---that’s Florida to you malcontents. Whilst enjoying a fine dinner at a friend’s Palm Beach home, we discussed the upcoming Romney landslide. I recall one investor friend commenting to me, “This is truly a great country! Imagine, we are on the brink of a socialistic society and in one fell swoop on a single November day, our crisis will be averted!!” He is correct.

The business of this classroom goes forward……

Students, today I would now like to take up in my lecture the subject of this week’s Vice Presidential Debate. Now, to be honest, VP debates are of little consequence and in all honesty a waste of time. Very few people view them nor take them seriously. The Vice Pres. Pick in comparison to the Pres. Nominee is akin to comparing the Best Actor Oscar Nominee to the Best Supporting actor. As you youngsters would say, “you get my drift????”. However, this year is different and this Veep debate will be most relevant. Following the disastrous performance by the President of Wednesday last, his campaign all but hinges on Joe Biden’s performance this Thursday against the young and energetic Paul Ryan. I tell you now, this debate will be a mismatch and the loser will not be Vice President Elect Ryan.

For one thing, Joe Biden tends to speak before he thinks. IN a way, he would fit in with most of you layabouts. Ryan is a man of facts, figures and principle. Since the President so calmly debated (?) Romney last week, actually nodding in agreement to many of the Pres. Elect’s points expect the Vice President to come out fighting. Yet, in the end it will be perceived by the public that the man who is NOW a heartbeat away from the Presidency is a crazy old man with irrational thoughts shouting at a young man with genuine, well thought ideas. We have seen overkill in debates before. The Gore Bush debate of 2000 comes to mind. The then Veep acted as a spoiled child would, bullying the good Governor and mumbling “my turn” when his time to speak would come up. Americans viewed Gore for what he was, a spoiled rich kid who felt entitled to be President. They viewed Gov. Bush as a man of determination who had true ideas and was running for the office not to simply attain it but to do something with it.

As Rocky Graziano remarked to the press following his middleweight title victory over Tony Zale, “It was over before it started”. As is this upcoming debate and election.

Something to think about this morning……..
Class Dismissed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dare I say, Obama blew it last week. Romney has pulled off a trojan horse strategy on debate night. The name of the horse was Chutzpah.

He did a 180 turn on all of his previous positions. Knowing that a vast majority of his audience does not follow political shows/stories he became the "new Romney". I say Trojan Horse because I do not believe the Obama people expected such a radical switch on the Governor's part.
In order for it to work the moderator would have to be meek in his position (he was--maybe a bit senile also) and his opponent would have to be passive (he was).

It was an enormous risk the Governor took and against all odds it worked! The sad thing is that if either Obama or Lehrer did their jobs it would have turned out to be the final nail in the Romney campaigns coffin.

You gotta hand it to Romney like him or not...he did what he had to do and succeeded.

IF Obama loses this race history will undoubtedly show the game changer to be debate # 1.
Bless You.

If Romney wins, we'll return to the dark ages in this country and it will be the death of progress.

I have to wonder if the American voters realize the danger the working class faces under the possible leadership of Romney. He was so bold at the debate that he made it very clear that Medicare will be a vouchered program. Every senior citizen will face physical and financial ruin under Romney. But do they understand and believe it? Absolutely not! It amazes me how working class people can even consider voting for any Republican. When asked, they cannot voice any program the Republican Party has sponsored that helps the working man. They don't understand that the only group to try to take away from the working class are the Republicans. I'm retired and I can say without a doubt that everything I enjoy in life today came from the Democrats and the only ones to every try to take them away are the Republicans. That's a simple fact and the idiots such as the goofy professor just don't get it. God save us from ourselves!
