Gov Corbett is grandstanding with his proposed lawsuit against the NCAA. Penn State doesnt have a leg to stand on and the best course is to shut up and suffer the consequences. Corbet knows a lot of Penn Staters remain in PA and they vote. He is more a part of the problem and is looking to deflect that by going on offense. Its an old trick. Where is the money to pay lawyers going to come from Tom? You, sir are a phoney and a destructive force on Pennsylvania.

And Cantor and Ryan were no where to be seen. I don't understand why they don't get voted out with their rich guy attitudes.

Good morning students,

And a Happy New Year to you all!!! From the looks of most of you there was at least a happy New Year’s Eve and I sincerely hope you are recovering nicely from your hangovers and drug withdrawals. And Mr. Yonki, it was my assumption that you promised never to submit another paper on the vulgar year of 1967 and yet you hand me one once again. Young man, you are to remain after class!!!!!!

The business of this classroom moves forward…….

Students,
Last night I witnessed such weakness on behalf of the Republican Party that I am flabbergasted. The inept House Speaker John Boehner pretty much sold out the conservative cause by agreeing to the liberal Obama fiscal cliff plan which basically only addressed the tax issue and not entitlements. So, what do we get with this package???? Massive tax increases on Americans who worked hard enough to earn good money. Does that make sense to you imbeciles because it certainly does not make sense to me. I have some very good friends who are going to be placed in a bind thanks to this fiasco of a bill. And John Boehner made it all possible. Now, you all may ask why I am attacking a Republican and not Mr. Obama or Ms. Pelosi. Well, the answer is quite obvious. I would expect to see a trash bill such as what is now law coming from either of the two, but for it to come courtesy of a so called conservative almost makes me want to vomit!!!!!!!

I will be the first to admit that the year 2012 was not a good one for Republicans or the conservative cause in general. And the saddest fact of all is that it was the conservatives themselves that caused it to be a bad year. The so called conservative Chief Justice of the United States became the deciding factor in Obamacare-----who would have thought that possible??? Give me your answer!!!!! The Republican establishment sold out several outstanding U.S. Senate candidates who were shoo-ins for election after these candidates made so-called anti-female remarks (translation----anti-feminism) by the act of muzzling. Willard Mitt Romney is NOT President because that same establishment pretty much abandoned ship on this fine man after the phony Democratic smears made against his free enterprise philosophy. All in all a disastrous year. So, how do we get out???

The answer is quite simple. Republicans need to stick to their guns (literally and figuratively ). The Senate may have been lost but the power of the filibuster remains and I suggest that the GOP Senators use it!!! There are future fiscal battles ahead, in particular the debt ceiling. There more than likely will be Supreme Court appointments. We need to maintain a conservative majority on that court and I am not satisfied with 5-4 in our favor, I wish it to be 9-0!!!!!!!!
Finally I wish to applaud the brave young Tea Party Republicans in the House who held to their principles. Guided by the spirit of greats such as Jefferson, Lincoln and Coolidge these youngsters prove the old adage: “and a little child shall lead them>” Yes, they are showing us the way and the question before us now is “are we going to follow?”. Together we shall save our nation, or together we shall perish in its fiscal flames.
Something to think about this morning……
Class Dismissed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree with Jack. Let it alone.
The sanctions could heve been worse. I am not a fan of the NCAA by any means, but fair or not action had to be taken. This thing was covered up and ignored for 15 years and beloved as he may have been Paterno knew something was wrong and had a duty as a man to follow up. Once again the victims are forgotten. Corbett is Governor of a troubled state and should have other priorities. Penn State needs to take its punishment and learn. Corbett wants attention and the appearance of a good guy. Jerry Sandusky had the same goals.
Corbett is no Sandusky I understand, but he too seems to have lost sight of the many victims. Back off Governor.
