The Presidential campaign of Hillary Clinton, despite the e mail controversy gets another boost tomorrow as Kentucky Senator Rand Paul enters the Presidential race. How does Paul help Hillary? Is he a Republican that has anything new to offer? Does he have a plan to lower health insurance costs, raise the minimum wage for the working poor and end income inequality?
Hope.
He is still opposing same-sex marriage, backing the "Life Begins at Conception Act" (which would make abortion illegal), and keeping marijuana illegal, opposes efforts to regulate carbon emissions, wants to increase defense spending by $190 billion, he fully backs the Supreme Court's Citizens United decision that allows unregulated and unlimited contributions to flow into campaigns and also supports the Supreme Court decision that gutted the Voting Rights Act! He also opposes all gun control measures, and has pledged to repeal Obamacare.
Hillary Clinton may not have inherited the political skills of her husband but she got his enemies that always made him look good. It was Ted Cruz a few weeks ago. Now Paul. Next chump please?

SHOULD PETE BE REINSTATED?

Today is the first day of baseball season and the question that many people are asking is this, should Pete Rose’s ban from baseball be lifted? Ex Commissioner Bud Selig still says no but new Commissioner Rob Manfred is open to a discussion and hearing.
My thoughts. Rose should be inducted into the Hall of Fame for his achievements as a player. On his plaque it should say he was thrown out for baseball.
But because he bet on gambling, the one rule that was always spelled out, he should not be employed by baseball in any way shape or form. He should be invited to ceremonial events limited to no more than 5 occasions a season.
Met him many times, loved his style of play, followed him since he was a rookie but that’s what I think.
Play ball!
