TRUMP'S HOT STREAK

Throughout my entire life of observing Presidential politics I have never seen a candidate get on an issue hot streak like Donald Trump. Sure he is a big personality but look at the parallels between what he is saying is wrong with this country and what is happening in the last few weeks since he announced.
IMMIGRATION: With very little facts and great bombast, he says illegal immigrants are killing people.
A few days later an innocent woman is gunned down in San Francisco. Not Pittsburgh or Dallas, not Piqua, Ohio or Grand Rapids, Minnesota (yes there is a Grand Rapids Minnesota) but a sanctuary city. Then the details about the murder are a handbook for everything that is wrong with our immigration policy. The feds blaming the city, vice versa.
THE IRAN TALKS: Trump has been saying we need a wall around Mexico and that if he is President he’ll have Mexico pay for it. When asked by interviewers how he will do that, he answers we have weak negotiators. He says he is a strong one just as Secretary of State John Kerry is expressing frustration and dismay about the year long Iranian nuke talks. Trump may not have an idea on how to solve that problem but he will point to this country’s inability to nail something down.
AIRLINE/STOCK MARKET/FEDERAL WORKERS BACKGROUND CHECK COMPUTER GLITCH:
This week there was a computer malfunction in the Airline Industry and on Wall Street. Plus there was news that the gathering of personal information of government employees was more widespread than was first revealed.
The common denominator in terms of a suspect in these incidents was China who Trump has been railing against for years.
These three issues Trump has been sounding off on loud and clear. To national political insiders he is portrayed as being off the rails. But to people hearing him speak on these issues and then seeing concrete proof of what is wrong on the news is just plain good luck for a Trump candidacy.
Plus let us never forget that Trump exists in the Republican party because there has been no candidate willing to take on these issues head on.
As Donald Trump might say, “This is a tremendous validation of the horrific things I warned this country about through my superior and incredible ability to be the only courageous and truthful person available to get us out of this mess."

NOT ENDORSING JEB OR BERNIE
Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett spanned generations recently by endorsing Hillary Clinton for Vice President. Bennett posted the following photo on his Face book page a few weeks back.

CARTWRIGHT ANNOUNCES $21,835 DHS GRANT AWARDED TO AVOCA HOSE CO. NO. 1

Representative Matt Cartwright announced that the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has awarded an Assistance to Firefighters Grant (AFG) to Avoca Hose Co. No. 1. The funds will be distributed via the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).
The $21,835 operations and safety grant will enable the purchase of an extractor/dryer, an appliance used to wash and dry turnout gear, a system of outer protective clothing.
“These grant funds will play an important role in modernizing Avoca Hose Co. No. 1 and protecting our firefighters,” said Rep. Cartwright, a member of the Congressional Fire Services Caucus.
The purpose of the AFG is to award competitive grants directly to fire departments to enhance their ability to protect the health and safety of the public, as well as that of first-responder personnel. Since 2001, the AFG program has provided approximately $6.1 billion in grants to first-responder organizations to obtain much-needed emergency response equipment, personal protective equipment, firefighting and emergency vehicles, and training.
During the current funding cycle, the AFG program will award nearly $300 million more to first-responder organizations that need support to improve their capability to respond to fires and emergencies of all types. (Cartwright office release).

Circumstances or fate, seems to be leaning toward Trump, from the Washington Examiner

"Donald Trump was unfortunately proven right on another one of his top issues Thursday: "gun free zones" at military bases. Trump decried the zones on military bases, suggesting that they left highly-trained gun operators without a weapon to fire at attackers, with the exception of military police.:
