TRUMP'S RELIGIOUS BAITING CONTINUES
Court Street METHODIST Church (Photo: Times Tribune)
So Donald Trump spoke to a group of religious leaders this week about faith. Not content to try and misquote the Bible again, Trump questioned Hillary Clinton's religion. Said there was no record of it. Now this is before religious leaders who you know have an idea of what church a major political candidate belongs to. So by accident or design, Trump insults the intelligence of those leaders by floating this thing out there.
Hillary Clinton is a Methodist. Her father is buried in Scranton and was buried from a church there. Maybe Donald could stop by the cemetery or better yet drop by Cooper's Restaurant to see photos of her visit here in the early 90s when her father passed away.
Bless our souls!

Congressman Lou Barletta will once again participate in the annual Congressional Baseball Game, a tradition of pitting the Republican team against the Democratic team that dates back to 1909, on Thursday, June 23, 2016 at 7:05 p.m. at Nationals Park in Washington, DC. The game is sponsored by CQ Roll Call, with proceeds to benefit the Washington Literacy Center, the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Washington, and the Washington Nationals Dream Foundation. Barletta is a lifelong baseball player and fan, who once had a tryout with the Cincinnati Reds. During the game, he will be wearing the uniform of the Harrisburg Senators, the Class AA minor league baseball affiliate of the Washington Nationals. He will again wear uniform number 7, in honor of his favorite player, Mickey Mantle, of the New York Yankees. For the Republican team, Barletta may appear as a left-handed pitcher, outfielder, or first baseman.
