THE LATEST REPUBLICAN LIE

I just love how the REPUBLICAN PARTY of President Trump is saying that all the people showing up at town meetings are paid protesters. Even my good friend L.A. Tarone got into the act and said that the protesters were paid by Moveon.org and other Liberal groups. The bottom line is that there have never been crowds like this before. People are pissed and no matter what they say, these are real people who see the writing on the wall. Tarone cited a Craigslist ad. Yeah, they're credible all right.
L.A. had a loudmouth caller named Mike who said NEPA would not tolerate out of towners coming to our area and damaging property here. Hasn’t happened anywhere yet but Mike assured us that people like him will stand with law enforcement officers to help.
I’m sure the local constabulary will be relieved.  I am not saying L.A. Tarone is lying, all I'm saying is he is repeating the latest GOP line about protestors coming out. Do you think these people were paid? 
Here's what real people with real lives need to do to get to one of these. Most work, have kids in schools and must take care of business before they go to an event. It is work. You can't believe that all of the protestors are getting a check. The Republican defaults now are the protestors are paid and the old stand by, Benghazi is still kicking. This IS NOT a paid protestor talking about her dying husband. Yesterday!

Tarone also said that if he thinks GOP officials should NOT have town meetings given this climate against the REPUBLICANS of Trump.
He might be able to defend Congressman Barletta, Casino Marino and Pat “Cowardly Lion” Toomey not showing up because they can’t stand the heat or will get their little itty bitty feelings.
I can’t.
I won’t.

TRUMP REVERSES TRANS GENDER STANCE

AOL News reports that the REPUBLICAN Trump administration overturned Wednesday night Obama-era guidance that allowed transgender students to use public bathrooms and locker rooms that match their gender identity.
Letters sent by the Justice and Education department to schools claimed that the directive caused confusion and lawsuits over its enforcement. Anti-bullying safeguards will not be affected, according to the letter.
The Justice Department headed by Attorney General Jeffrey Sessions spearheaded the reversal. Last April, Trump weighed in on the North Carolina "bathroom law" -- HB2 -- that banned people from using public bathrooms or locker rooms that don't match the sex on their birth certificate.
State lawmakers should “leave it the way it is,” Trump said in an interview with NBC, adding that people should "use the bathroom they feel is appropriate."
"The president's made it clear throughout the campaign that he's a firm believer in states' rights and certain issues like this are not best dealt with at the federal level," Spicer said.
It is evident Trump is desperately trying to hold on to his ignorant, intolerant base.

REP. CARTWRIGHT INTRODUCES BILL TO ADDRESS EDUCATION FOR STUDENTS WITH SENSORY DISABILITIES

U.S. Representative Matt Cartwright (D-PA) and Representative David McKinley (R-WV) re-introduced the Alice Cogswell and Anne Sullivan Macy Act. This bipartisan bill would improve educational services for students with sensory disabilities.
Named after two pioneers in sensory disability education, the Cogswell-Macy Act would amend the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) to require states to identify, evaluate, and provide special education and related services to students who are blind, visually impaired, deaf, hard of hearing, or deafblind, regardless of whether they are categorized under a different disability.
Passed in 1975, IDEA requires schools to serve the educational needs of students with disabilities. Although the best available data reports that upwards of 350,000 students are deaf or hard of hearing and 100,000 students have vision loss, less than one third of those populations are reported under IDEA. The Cogswell-Macy Act strengthens IDEA provisions to better meet the educational needs of students with sensory disabilities.
“Every child deserves the opportunity to succeed in school and achieve his or her potential,” said Rep. Cartwright. “Students with sensory disabilities require specialized services to meet their unique, diverse needs, services which are often not available in today’s schools. I look forward to working with my colleagues to pass this crucial bill.”
The Cogswell-Macy Act also assists parents and educators with accessing up-to-date policy resources from the Department of Education.
This legislation is endorsed by the American Foundation for the Blind, the National Association of the Deaf, the National Coalition of Deafblindness, the American Council of the Blind, and more than 100 other organizations.
"Our national special education law has been a success at getting kids with disabilities into their neighborhood schools, but what we haven't done yet is to make sure that students with vision loss get the education they deserve once they get in the schoolhouse door," said Mark Richert, Director of Public Policy for the American Foundation for the Blind. "We've waited forty years, and we're not waiting another forty to give kids who are blind or visually impaired an education that is worthy of their tremendous potential. That's why the Cogswell-Macy Act is imperative."
“Deaf and hard of hearing children need better access to a quality education, and this Act provides a significant improvement towards the goal of a fully accessible quality education based on the communication needs of each deaf and hard of hearing student,” said Howard A. Rosenblum, Esq., CEO of the National Association of the Deaf.
"When implemented, the Alice Cogswell and Anne Sullivan Macy Act will focus each deaf or hard of hearing child’s education program on that child’s unique language and communication needs, as intended by the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act,” said Sandra Edwards, President of the Conference of Educational Administrators of Schools and Programs for the Deaf (CEASD) and Superintendent of the Mississippi School for the Deaf.
"The Cogswell-Macy Act brings much-needed reform to our schools we have not seen in decades. It empowers students who are deafblind to succeed in the 21st century American classroom,” said Mussie Gebre from DeafBlind Citizens in Action. “By providing them with essential support services such as interveners and qualified teachers to meet their unique needs, America ensures that they are able to communicate and learn effectively in order to achieve in school and lead independent and productive lives.”

Today in Harrisburg the Judicial Crisis Network (JCN), a non-profit organization dedicated to strengthening liberty and justice in America, will hosted a press conference at the offices of the Pennsylvania Manufacturers’ Association calling on Senate Democrats to grant Supreme Court nominee Neil Gorsuch an up-or-down vote and restore the Supreme Court to full membership. Congressman Lou Barletta was there.
Here’s my question, when will Congressman Barletta show up at local town meeting or Press Conference?
