MAYBE I’M AMAZED

Our “Maybe I’m Amazed” logo.

MAYBE I’M AMAZED…..that there was another shooting by a person with a record of abuse who shot his estranged wife dead along with a child. It happened in a classroom. I am totally amazed that the REPUBLICAN party wants to round up illegals, taking them out of their homes and breaking up their families while not doing a thing to screen people with background checks who have no business carrying a gun.
MAYBE I’M AMAZED….that Gallipolis turtles can take up to three weeks to digest a meal.
MAYBE I’M AMAZED….that on the radio today people were jawing about free education. Jesus, we can’t even do Health Care right, we let the Insurance companies screw us over and we want to make education free?
Then a caller said with great New York accented authority that maybe we should pay public school teachers more to make sure the kids are better prepared.
Really?
Is he kidding?
Good education begins at home not with some School Director’s kid getting more money with summers off!
MAYBE I’M AMAZED……that Traverse City, Michigan considers itself the cherry capitol of the world. Just like Pittston is the Tomato Capitol of the world!
MAYBE I’M AMAZED…..that apples, peaches and raspberries are all the members of the rose family. From Allentown and 50 years ago, Jay and the Techniques.

MAYBE I’M AMAZED…but not that the Alabama REPUBLICAN Governor resigned because he wants to do other things and contribute more.
Yeah, right.
Here’s the real story. When a former Alabama governor started sending suggestive texts to a member of his staff, he probably didn't expect them to sync onto the state-issued iPad he had given his wife.
On Monday, Robert Bentley, 74, resigned from his role as Alabama's governor after an ethics report concluded he used state resources to conceal an affair with his adviser, Rebekah Caldwell Mason.
Well it is Alabama and we never thought their Governors had any type of brilliance. But I give him this, if he was going to go down in flames, at least he went young.
MAYBE I’M AMAZED….that the first vacuum cleaner was so large it needed to be brought into a house by horse.
MAYBE I’M AMAZED…..that the AP reported that Commissioners in a Florida county are so tired of spending money on President Donald Trump’s frequent visits to his Mar-a-Lago resort that some are suggesting a special tax be levied against the property if the federal government doesn’t reimburse its costs.
Palm Beach County spends more than $60,000 a day when the president visits, mostly for law enforcement overtime — almost $2 million since January. Sheriff Ric Bradshaw says the county was expected to spend $250,000 during Trump’s recent meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping, the president’s sixth trip to his Winter White House in the 12 weeks since his inauguration.
Good luck getting TAHFQ to pony up any of his money to offset the expenses.

where is the dumpsters concern about the "u.s. beautiful kids" when this school tragedy happens?. but give the crazies the guns

Will taking, or preventing ownership, of guns stop these tragedies? Or, will the perpetrators murder by other means? If they will what is the point of wasting effort, time and resources if the outcome will be the same?
