For the first time since Howell Heflin (see LuLac this weekend) retired as a Democratic Senator, Alabama has elected a Democrat. Doug Jones beat Roy Moore in a close but consequential race. Alabama picked progress over regression.
It picked hope over hate.
The state choose a man who brought justice to young girls (the slain children of a 1965 bombing) vs. an accused pedophile who went after young girls.
This state chose a person who campaigned against a person who hid.

Senator Majority Leader, Mitch McConnell a Republican said that he'd welcome Doug Jones and hope that he would help the Republicans lead the country. Delusional!

The accused pedophile invoked the name of God in his semi concession speech. Shameless. But I can see why this thug is "waiting on God". That's his only hope. Roy Moore, say your prayers. It's all ya got!

I guess President Bannon and The Orange One are so tired of winning that they just couldn't get it done again. Keep it coming, fellas!
I hope and pray Trump and Bannon come to PA next year too so we can remind voters who stood right alongside Mr. Access Hollywood in 2016: Lou Barletta, Tom Marino, Lisa Baker, Tara Toohill, Lauren Cummings.....
