400 TURN OUT AT JCC

400 people turned out last earlier in the week at The Jewish Community Center to remember the 13 people killed at a Synagogue in Pittsburgh. The event was solemn, prayerful and downright patriotic in my opinion. No loud chants, no jingoistic egotistical exhibitions of cruelty and ignorance.
Just a reflective remembrance of those who were killed senselessly while they prayed.
It was our area at its finest. Compassionate, thoughtful and kind.
Let’s hope these 400 take a few people by the hand to change things in the coming days.

MAYOR TONY GEORGE STATEMENT ON SHOOTINGS IN PITTSBURGH 

LOU BARLETTA’S DESPERATE ATTEMPT OF TRANSFERENCE IN SENATE RACE

So Lou Barletta accuses Senator Bob Casey of politicizing his grandchild when the Casey campaign ran an ad about children and parents worrying about the GOP Congress taking away pre-existing conditions. Barletta, whose grandchild WASN’T mentioned in the ad screamed bloody murder about it even though he was part of a Republican cabal trying to get rid of the conditions.
Casey took the ad down in this market.
Then at the very end of a debate, Barletta sandbagged Casey and threw the punch at him regarding the ad and his grandchild. .
Casey apologized and then took the ad OFF the air.
Barletta later told a reporter that he felt Casey’s apology was not sincere. Then Barletta used a paid actress saying what Bob Casey did was despicable.
What is despicable are these two things and they are clearly aimed at Barletta.
1. Lou proved that you can NEVER apologize to REPUBLICANS because they are too graceless and ignorant to accept it.
2. Lou is the one NOW using his own grand child (who wasn’t even in the equation in the Casey ad, only in Lou’s imagination) to gain traction in his pathetic attempt to be a Senator.
If Lou does lose, look for him to join his buddy Trump in D.C. He has the skills of transference as well as telling a lie to further his own goals. Plus, is Lou the only Congressman giving Trump an A plus?
Really? One thing `about that. It’s most likely the only grade Trump got that he didn’t have to pay for!

BIG DEMOCRATIC RALLY RALLY THIS SUNDAY!!! 

The late County Chair Joe Tirpak, a loyal, longtime Democrat if ever there was one used to call it “The Big Push!” The Dems would unite and get all their ducks in a row to get out the vote. It was always capped off with an Olde Time Rally.
That’s going to happen this year, this Sunday. Here’s the info. 

Then later on in the afternoon, the doors open up for former Vice President Biden to speak at Pittston Area High School. If this doesn’t gin up the Democratic base, nothing will.

TRUMP BECOMES A CONSTITUTIONALIST!!!

The very fact that Donald Trump has said that a birth right is unconstitutional is laughable. This man has no clue that if he were to change the Constitution it would have to be amended. He cannot do it by Executive Order. Constitutional scholars have told him so.
His own Speaker of the House Paul Ryan said it wasn’t possible for a President to do so.
Trump told the Speaker (who has carried Trump’s water for 2 years) to butt out of it.
You say one word about Donald Trump in disagreement, and he writes you off and insults you. Paul Ryan has learned a valuable lesson that the petulant Trump only takes loyalty and gives NONE. Except his own terms.

TROOPS AT THE BORDER

Trump wants to send 15,000 troops to the border to protect us from the hordes of women and children in the Caravan. That’s more than we have in Afghanistan.
The President and those who follow him, tough guys all around when it comes to talking, are not afraid of the character of the people but rather the color and culture of the people.
Even Fox News said we aren’t being invaded but this President stoked the fires of hate and division,

TRUMP SHUNNED IN PITTSBURGH

President Trump went to Pittsburgh to pay his condolences to the community of Squirrel Hill. Not many public officials showed up to meet him. Even Senator Pat Toomey, a guy who will put his finger in the air to test the political winds declined.
The Trump supporters are crying and whining and saying “This is an insult to the Presidency”.
Nope it is an insult to the man who read off a prompter defying hate and then went to a rally the same night to spew it.
