BIDEN'S SPEECH FROM GETTYSBURG

Ladies and Gentlemen this is a President.

 PUNY PAT WON’T RUN

Pat Toomey (Photo: Politco)

Pat Toomey who will go down in Pennsylvania history as the most impotent, ineffective and spineless politician has said he won’t run for Senator in 2022 nor for Governor. Keep in mind Puny Pat barely survived 2016 and there is no way he has the juice to run for Governor. With his withdrawal there is talk Lou Barletta might take crack at being Governor. Barletta lost a statewide race to Bob Casey and was promised big bucks by his lord and savior Donald Trump. That never happened and I don’t think it will if Lou decides to run for Governor.

 TRUMP AND THE VIRUS

When Donald Trump came down with the virus, I wished him well. I don’t want any person, even a horrible human like him to die before their time. But when Trump was released from the hospital, he was tone deaf in telling America they can overcome the disease. Tell that to the 200,000 dead who might be alive if this guy and his “best people” had a plan. Also, when did the President actually test positive and why isn't the White House releasing that info?

If Trump is found to have purposely infected people, he should be held as criminally liable.

TRUMP AND THE STIMULUS PACKAGE

First Trump says that he would end the stimulus talks until AFTER the election. This move even caught his chief negotiator Steve Manucion by surprise. The baby President had a tantrum apparently until he realized that he was shooting himself in his ample ass. So later on he tweets that he was going to sign a stimulus bill.

This series of mood swings is the reason why were never had an infrastructure package from this administration. Here’s why:

1.     1.   Trump can’t keep his word because he’s a lying bastard.

2.      2.  No one knows what to expect of this so called “deal maker”.

Meantime, people who are sick and also unemployed because of Covid are going to food banks to feed their families. I hope they and their families vote accordingly.

BOGNET KEEPS LYING!!!!!

Candidate lying Jim Bognet (Photo: Bognet campaign)

Jim Bognet just won’t stop TELLING LIES. God I can’t get away from the premium prevaricator. I heard an ad on the radio this morning saying Matt Cartwright said he’d defund the police. He didn’t. Why am I so vehement about calling Bogg Boy out? Because I was on THAT call where Cartwright was asked the question and I heard him (along with a few others mind you) SAY NO!!!!!!!!  This guy is a disciple of Diaper Don. Always lying and full of crap. A few more times with Trump and soon Bognet will be crying.

CARTWRIGHT ANNOUNCES $505,462 FOR NORTHEASTERN PENNSYLVANIA HEALTH CENTERS

Congressman Matt Cartwright (Photo: LuLac archives)

U.S. Representative Matt Cartwright announced that Rural Health Corporation of Northeastern Pennsylvania, Wayne Memorial Community Health Centers, and Scranton Primary Health Care Center will receive funding from the Department of Health and Human Services’ (HHS) Health Center Program grants.

“All Northeastern Pennsylvanians deserve access to medical care regardless of their zip code, whether they live in downtown Scranton or rural Wayne County. Health centers like the Rural Health Corporation of Northeastern Pennsylvania, Wayne Memorial Community Health Centers, and Scranton Primary Health Care Center ensure that everyone can receive high quality, affordable care in their own backyard,” said Rep. Cartwright, a member of the House Appropriations Committee. “That’s why I am committed to advocating for funding for our health care institutions, especially as they continue to lead the fight against COVID-19.”

“We are very fortunate to receive this additional funding as a ‘reward,’ if you will, for our commitment to high quality care and information technology improvements.  More importantly, we have been recognized yet again for our Patient Centered Medical Home designation which ensures that we put the patient at the center of everything we do at  Rural Health and that their care is properly managed in the whole picture, resulting in overall better health outcomes for individuals and the communities we serve,” said Tiffany Tankalavage, President and CEO of the Rural Health Corporation of Northeastern Pennsylvania.

"This funding will support our Patient Centered Medical Home Certification (PCMH) accreditation from The National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) as well as the continuation of WMCHC's Integrated Behavioral Health Program. Through this funding, WMCHC can hire a peer support specialist for its substance abuse disease program and purchase valuable medications for uninsured patients needing medication-assisted treatment for opioid and other substance abuse disorders," said Frederick Jackson, Wayne Memorial Community Health Center Executive Director. “We are extremely grateful for Representative Cartwright's support of health center programming and working across the aisle to ensure funding of the health center program.”

“The most recent awards recognize Scranton Primary as a Clinical Quality Improver for increasing all quality metrics in excess of 15%, as well as providing support to allow us to provide integrated behavioral health for our patients when they visit one of our offices for pediatric care, family medicine, internal medicine, women's health, perinatal care, or general dental care. The integrated care allows them to get needed help while they are in the office, rather than having to schedule another appointment,” said Joseph Hollander, CEO of Scranton Primary Health Care Center. “In the last six years, the number of patient visits to Scranton Primary has increased over 87% as a result of the continuing support we have received from Congressman Cartwright.”

The Health Center Program grant is managed by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), a division of HHS. It is the primary federal agency for improving health care for residents who are geographically isolated and/or economically or medically vulnerable. HRSA’s 90-plus programs support over 3,000 grantees that meet the health care needs of tens of millions of Americans. The HRSA provides Quality Improvement Award and Integrated Behavioral Health Services funding to organizations currently receiving Health Center Program operational grant funding. The QIA celebrates and promotes the optimization of overall quality, efficiency, and value of health care services provided by our nation’s health centers.  There are eight categories for achievement. The IBHS is a non-competitive supplement to help health centers increase access to high quality, integrated mental health and substance use disorders.

CASEY REVEALS NEW EVIDENCE OF POSTAL SERVICE SABOTAGE; PRESSES HEAD OF USPS FOR ANSWERS

SENATOR CASEY RECEIVED EVIDENCE FROM NORTHEASTERN PENNSYLVANIA POSTAL WORKERS EVEN AS POSTMASTER GENERAL DEJOY PLEDGED TO END DELAYS. PHOTOS SHOW PRIORITY MAIL DELAYED TWO WEEKS.

, U.S. Senator Bob Casey revealed new evidence of Postal Service sabotage by the Trump Administration. Senator Casey’s office received new photos from postal workers in Northeastern Pennsylvania who are concerned about the Administration’s continued scheme to delay the mail. Contrary to claims by Postmaster DeJoy that he would reverse policy changes that delayed mail, the photos show mail continuing to pile up as seniors, businesses and families await vital correspondence.

The photos, including evidence of Priority Mail being delayed for two weeks, can be viewed here.

On September 25, 2020, delayed priority mail for nine Northeastern PA zip codes was found in the Scranton USPS facility. Approximately 30 to 35 large mail containers loaded with priority mail, dating back to at least September 17, were re-routed from the Lehigh Valley plant to the Scranton location. As of October 5, there were at least five tractor trailer loads of delayed mail sent from the Lehigh Valley facility.

“Postmaster General DeJoy promised to reverse changes that were slowing the mail, but the evidence is clear that his only policy is delay and deny,” Senator Casey said. “The continued delays in mail are unacceptable and the evidence compiled in these photos demand answers now.”

U.S. Representative John Jenrette (D-South Carolina) became the second member of Congress to be convicted of accepting an offer of a bribe in the FBI's Abscam investigation. He was defeated for re-election four weeks later and resigned his seat on December 10, 24 days before the expiration of his term…..The new military government of Turkey carried out the first executions in that republic since 1972 in a move "evidently meant to show the determination of the country's new military rulers to act severely against political terrorism, which was one of the factors in bringing about the military coup." Necdet Adali, a leftist convicted of the 1977 murder of two opponents in 1977, and Mustafa Pehlivangolu, a right wing extremist who had killed five people in 1978, were both hanged at 4:00 in the morning at the prison in Ankara…..

Pope John Paul II told his weekly general audience that "even if a man looks at woman who is his own wife" with lust, he was committing the sin of adultery. The Pontiff based his reasoning on the New Testament statement that Jesus was speaking of looking at any woman with lustful desire, with no exception for marriage......Stuntman Jaromir Wagner of West Germany set a record in the sport of wing walking as he became "the first person to cross the Atlantic Ocean on the outside of an airplane."  Wagner, who spent his entire time in the air standing and walking on top of the wing of a twin-engine biplane, had departed Giessen, in West Germany on September 27 and made stops along the way in Scotland, the Faeroe Islands, Iceland and Greenland before reaching North America, then stopped at the Canadian province of Newfoundland and the U.S. state of Vermont before touching down in Fairfield, New Jersey…….An attempt by the Jordache clothing company to fly a dirigible, as part of a promotional campaign for its fashion designer jeans, ended when the airship crashed on its maiden flight after takeoff from Lakehurst, New Jersey, half a mile from the site of the 1937 Hindenburg disaster. The 170 feet (52 m) long blimp took off at 8:15 with a destination of a fashion show at New York City's Battery Park, but after traveling 600 feet (180 m), it split a seam and began deflating. Pilot James Boza was uninjured after making a controlled descent…..John W. Hinckley, Jr., was arrested in Nashville, Tennessee after a handgun was found in his carry-on luggage while he was attempting to board an American Airlines flight plane. Because he had no felony convictions in any state, he was released after paying a fine of $62.50 and pleading guilty to a misdemeanor. Hinckley had been following the campaign trail of U.S. President Jimmy Carter, who had been campaigning in the city half and hour earlier. Earlier, Hinckley had gone to a Carter campaign stop at Dayton, Ohio (where he got within six feet of the President had not brought along a gun) and to Nashville. Hinckley would later shoot Carter's successor, U.S. President Ronald Reagan, on March 30, 1981…..Mary Cunningham, a Vice President of the Bendix Corporation, resigned after accusations that her rapid promotion to a high-level corporate job had been the result of an alleged extramarital affair with the company's CEO, William Agee.. British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher delivered her famous "The lady's not for turning" speech after opponents within her Conservative Party asked her to change the government's economic policies. Responding to her critics, including former Prime Minister Edward Heath, to not avoid turning around on her policies, she said, "You turn if you want to. The lady's not for turning." The phrase, which earned her "a five-minute standing ovation"  was a pun on the title of Christopher Fry's 1948 play The Lady's Not for Burning…Soviet cosmmonauts Leonid Popov and Valery Ryumin returned to Earth at 2:50 p.m. local time (0950 UTC) after spending a record 185 days in orbit aboard the Salyut 6 space station. The pair, who had been launched on Soyuz 35 on April 9, landed in the Kazakh SSR in the Soyuz 37 capsule. On October 1, Popov and Ryumin had brokem the endurance record for the longest time spent in outer space, breaking the record of 175 days and 35 minutes set by Ryumin's previous mission on Soyuz 32. In all, Ryumin's three missions made him the person with the most time in space, with 362 days. Leonid Popov and Valery Ryumin had been launched to the Salyut space station on April 9, remained for ten more days, returning to Earth in Soyuz 37 on October 11. Ryumin's two missions made him the person with the most time in space, with 360 days.…and forty years ago the number one song in America and LuLac land was  “Never Knew Love Like This Before” by Stephanie Mills.
