This week we take a look at a letter to the editor from a Wilkes-Barre resident who is sick and tired of hearing about voter fraud. More should be fovused on this fact: Trump lost by 4 million votes in 2016, 7 million in 2020. That total is 11 million.

TIME TO 'STOP THE STUPID'

Editor: During a recent speaking engagement, Gen. Michael Flynn was asked why we could not pull off a bloody coup in America similar to the one in Myanmar. He responded, “I mean, it should happen here.” But, coward that he is, when he was challenged about his answer, he replied that he actually said, “no reason it (a coup) should happen here.

At the same conference Attorney Sydney Powell told the crowd that the ex-president “can simply be reinstated.” She actually told this ridiculous lie after arguing in a legal brief defending herself in a defamation case brought by Dominion Voting Systems that “reasonable people would not accept” her statements “as facts.” May be time to substitute “rational” for “reasonable.”

Then there is “Pillow Guy” who absurdly claims the ex-president will be reinstated to power because of arguments he plans to bring to the Supreme Court in July. Apparently, these are going to be the same arguments he promised to bring in April and then in May. So let’s not hold our breath for July.

And let’s not forget the Republicans all over the country who want to re-investigate the 2020 elections despite their being upheld 65 times by the courts.

But, at the same time, the Republican in the U.S. Congress do not want to investigate the insurrection. Maybe if Pence had been “hugged” to death and Pelosi had been seriously “kissed”, they would feel differently.

Tragically, these deniers of truth are slavishly following the insane rantings of someone who calls themselves Q. And they have chosen to ignore the facts presented by many people, Democrat and Republican, who actually think using their I.Q.

It is time to put an end to the lunacy of “Stop the Steal.”

It is time to start the rationality of “Stop the Stupid.”
