1.       Whatever happened to Kathleen Kane?

She has moved on from past difficulties, especially after being found not guilty in that traffic stop a few years back. That ruling came down in December of last year.

 

2.       Thoughts on the way Josh Shapiro is being treated by the national media.

 

Shapiro is hitting all the right marks. He is a frequent guest on MSNBC and has acquitted himself well. Perhaps the best barometer of his standing is the fact that politicians from other states are quoting him on national TV. Pundits are also throwing his name around as a possible Presidential candidate in 2028.

 

3.       It appears your Guardians or my Yankees won’t be in the playoffs. Who are you now going to start following?

The Phillies must be the most entertaining team on the planet, so I’ll be rooting for them.

 

4, What do you think of the hand wringing about President Biden’s vigor and health?

My God people should just STOP! Especially the Democratic bedsitters who are essentially buying into this narrative. The truth about aging and good health is this: YOU ARE HEALTHY UNTIL YOU’RE NOT. Every day where you are functioning should be attacked and embraced. This bullshit about cognitive tests is dumb. I’m amazed that more people seem to be tut tutting about Biden’s mind and health than the fact that Donald Trump is indicted four times for crimes against America. Biden has crisscrossed the world in all time zones and is doing more than any other President in decades. Let him do his job and support him to the max. 

 

4.       911’s remembrance was just two days ago. Do you think it is a reminder of how far Rudy Giuliani has fallen?

Absolutely Rudy at one point had a 76% population rating, now he is down to 16%. Granted there is a lot of that decline from his own doing but why he would throw in his lot with Trump is anyone’s guess. It does prove however that what Trump touches turns to crap. My proof is this: name me one person who benefited from a connection with Donald Trump. Except of course Trump himself. 

 

5.       Will David McCormick be a viable candidate against Bob Casey in the 2024 Senate race?

More than viable. He will be very competitive and well-funded. Look for the GOP to clear the field for him this year. All that said, it will be interesting to see how McCormick will navigate the Trump endorsement question when it comes up. 

 

6.       New Hampshire’s Chris Sununu. Player or pretender?

A little bit of both. He is engaging but might be a rad too moderate for the Trump GOP. 

 

7.       Who will get the Yankee ax sat the end of the year? Brian Cashman or Boone?

I’m going out on a limb here and saying neither.

 

8.       Do you buy the GOP line that Trump’s infrastructure plan failed because of the Mueller Russian probe?

My God NO. The Trumpers spent the first year and a half trying to gut the Affordable Care Act and getting huge tax breaks for the wealthiest Americans. Trump did NOTHING on rebuilding the roads and airports he says are now in decline. 

 

9.       Is the 14^th Amendment section on treason something Trump should worry about?

Yes, more so than the trials. A lawsuit filed on September 6^th in Colorado District Court by Republican and unaffiliated voters, seeks to compel Colorado’s secretary of state to bar Trump from the state’s ballot under section 3 of the 14th Amendment, which disqualifies from office anyone who took an oath to the Constitution and then engaged in insurrection. The organization, Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington, or CREW, along with top election lawyers and litigators from Colorado, is representing those plaintiffs. While much of the focus has been on the criminal fallout from Jan. 6, this case centers on a more foundational question that is currently being debated in political and legal spheres of influence: Can our Constitution protect against those who tried to overthrow our government? If the answer is yes and it is Trump should not be allowed to run. But in this age of lies and no shame, any other honorable man or woman would have realized that and not put the country through this drama. (LuLac, CREW)

11.   Who will be the strongest surprise candidate against Trump?

Christie. He won’t win the nomination in 2024 but will win in the history books. He will make it possible for rational thinking people to see through Trump. 

 

12.   Is there any organized Trump campaign?

 No. It is a loosely fitting amalgamation of grievances, lies, attacks and treasonous behavior that offers no solutions to our future needs.

 

13, Are you a Tommy Tuberville fan?

 

Nope. The Democrats who have the majority in the Senate should censure him. He is holding up military promotions that in the long run will weaken the national security of this country. Then when the damage is done by a clueless, immoral sexist prick like this, they’ll blame the lack of preparedness on the Democrats.

13. a.  Steve Urban  Junior and the bat. Comments? 

Urban Junior is an obstructionist who has lost support in his own party. The actions are self evident. He never manned up for what he did. No thinking person would ask a neighbor to delete film footage. Let's leave morality aside, but think practically. Why did neighbors refuse to delete the film? Because they know that could be OBSTRUCTION OF JUSTICE! Apparently Urban Junior like national Republicans think that's okay. They whine about a separate set of rules but think they can own getting away with a crime. Not surprising to me at all.

13 b. How about Kevin McCarthy saying he'd impeach Biden? 

No balls. He took no questions and refused to bring it to a House vote because he'd offend the crazy caucus. They've been trying to link Biden to that shit for years. I say "have at it and follow your asshole subhuman unpatriotic fools." McCarthy is the Neville Chamberlain of this century beholden to 30 idiots that even his sane colleagues can't stand.
