CLINTONS SET TO ARRIVE

The Clintons will be in town tomorrow for another Baptism. The couple will then hold a rally with Vice Presidential candidate Joe Biden.
The free event will take place at 3:15 p.m. Sunday at the Riverfront Sports Complex.It is open to the public and no tickets are required, but RSVPs are strongly encouraged. To RSVP, go to pa.barackobama.com. Space is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
For security reasons, attendees should not bring bags and should limit personal items. No signs or banners are allowed.Doors open at 1:15.

FLYNT MOVIE

You think the right wing was upset by Michael Moore, they are going to go ballistic when they hear this. Larry Flynt, the Publisher of a men’s magazine will be producing a film based on the life of Vice Presidential Sarah Palin. Hustler Video's X-rated flick, "Nailin' Paylin," features adult actress Lisa Ann in the Alaskan governor's signature specs and up-do, who "will be nailing the Russians who come knocking on her back-door."
In a flashback sequence, "young Paylin's creationist college professor will explain a 'big bang' theory even she can't deny!" This according to the NY Daily News. Radar Online also posted an excerpt of the script, which includes a late-night visit from the tanning bed repairman.
Alas, there is also a scene with Hillary Clinton and Condoleezza Rice look-alikes. Adult film actress Nina Hartley, 49, has been cast as Clinton.
Flynt, an iconoclast and freedom of speech advocate, is a staunch liberal who accused the Bush administration of violating the U.S. Bill of Rights in his 2005 tome "Sex, Lies and Politics: The Naked Truth."
He was portrayed by Woody Harrelson in the 1996 film "The People vs. Larry Flynt." The Palin porno's script excerpt has "Paylin" spouting topical, tongue-and-cheek lines such as, "Are you asking me if I know what a morning-after pill is" Because I totally do! I'll get back to ya with the specifics," riffing off of her shaky interview Katie Couric.
"Looking for a Sarah Palin look-alike for an adult film to be shot in the next 10 days," read the ad, offering $3,000 for the part.
The video is being fast-tracked for release before the election. Oh Goody!

CAMPAIGN STRATEGY #25

McCAIN

The newewest strategy seems to be to attack the credibility and character of Senator Obama. But clearly Senator McCain is uncomfortable or at the very least ambivalent about the way his campaign is portraying Obama. Yesterday in Ohio, McCain twice told fired up supporters in a town hall meeting (one woman who called Mr. Obama an Arab) that the Illinois Senator was a good and decent American. Another time, McCain said no one should be afraid of Obama as President. It is clear that McCain while embracing the strategy sometimes is really not “into” the boiler plate attacks served up by the more right of his party. That I guess is characteristic of John McCain.

OBAMA

Has stayed on message the last few weeks honing in on the economy. Obama has an added political advantage that people are nervous about the stock market, the economy as well as the future economic concerns of this country. The accusations that he has consorted with terrorists, aka William Ayers has been a blip on the radar screen given the huge economic woes. Obama’s strategy seems to be doing what he has been doing and letting surrogates handle the attacks.
