ALL ABOUT JOE!!!!

COFFEE WITH KRISTI

Ever go to one of these events? I did on Friday morning after traveling back to the area from a Thursday night speaking engagement in Allentown. Pulling in to the facility at 5:15AM, the place was packed with morning coffee fans and Kristi Capel weather fans. I asked Capel the best part of her job which she said was meeting the folks, the worst part was waking up so darn early. If you weren't awake before you came into Dunkin' on Friday, you were after the boost of energy you received from the vivacious WBRE TV morning crew.

Robo calls are entering the final weekend of the Judicial Race in Luzerne County. Calls to homes leave an anonymous message that says Judicial candidates Joe Terrana and Joe Sklarosky took more money from lawyers than all the other canidates running for Judge combined. Calls were centered in the Wilkes Barre area and West Side on Friday night.

But even as he insisted he would stay in the primary fight against newly-Democratic Senator Arlen Specter, party insiders had called his departure from the race inevitable. He was widely seen as running with the backing of Gov. Ed Rendell, who threw his weight behind Specter when the longtime Republican switched parties. Here's Torsella's video message:

I was a convert to Kristi, much better than that clown Snedeker, but these coffee's she kind of acts foolish. I guess it is because I am a guy I find it more tolerable from here than Milo...
