The LuLac Edition #1063, Jan. 5th, 2010

PHOTO INDEX: FORMER JUDGE JOSEPH MUSTO, 11TH CONGRESSIONAL DISTRICT CANDIDATES COREY O'BRIEN AND PAUL KANJORSKI.

MUSTO WILL STAY

Even though Joseph Musto’s second tour as a Luzerne County Common Pleas Judge ended on Monday with the swearing in of Bill Amesbury and Tina Gartley, we heard on very good authority that Musto will be appointed Court Administrator under the dome. While many will say this is business as usual, Musto will bring to the position a great deal of experience as a litigator, Judge, Master and Arbitrator. Plus his knowledge of the court system from every side will make him unparallelled in his qualifications.

O'BRIEN'S JOB TOUR

11th Congressional candidate Coey O'Brien will be making a major jobs announcement this Thursday, January 7th. He will be speaking in Plains Township (Corner of Main & Carey Streets), Luzerne County, at 9:00 a.m. and in Dunmore (Corner of Drinker & Blakely Streets), Lackawanna County, at 12:00 p.m.This announcement is part of my
Plan for Progress, a long-term plan for Pennsylvania's 11th Congressional District that addresses the concerns that I have heard on the campaign trail relating to the economy, health care, education, fiscal responsibility, corruption and the environment. To hear the news: Text OBRIEN to 313131. And follow me on Twitter @CoreyDOBrien.

KANJO TWITTERING TOO

If you want to follow the Kanjorski Congressional campaign, you can also do it on Twitter. You can now receive breaking news and other info on the Paul Kanjorski campaign for Congress in PA 11 by following us on Twitter. Just go the link:
twitter.com/kanjo4congress and click on the "Follow" button. You must have a Twitter account yourself to view tweets. There will be a wide range of topics including whether the Congressman will run for reelection in 2010 (is there any doubt?) to FEC report updates to Kanjo's speaking and TV appearances, campaign events and more. This is a campaign, not a congressional office or personal account by the Congressman. It will be one of just several ways we communicate with the media and the public about Paul Kanjorski's political activities.

Take a serious look at Lackawanna
County and tell me aside from layoffs what OBrien has done for the people. I know he helped build a senior center when he was in high school and thats great for Dunmore, but as a County resident, who voted for him with high hopes, I have seen nothing but self promotion from day one in office. Now hes taking his bullshit show on the road. Just another empty suit politician who will probably go far.

Musto may be perceived as business as usual, but he is eminently qualified.

Musto gets his third public appointment and no comments. Interesting. We have Sen Musto, DA Musto-Carroll, Judge Musto no Court Administrator Musto, former Pittston School Disstrict Superintendent Musto (DA's father), and brother Biagio who has worked for years for the PA Dept of Education. Are there any Musto's without a job?

8:30 PM Certainly none that wants or needs one. But Judge Joe can certainly do the job. My problem is that there are many who can do the job so why is it always the same group or family that gets taken care of? And, is the job needed? The job went unfilled almost a year and when Sharkey had it, it was part time at best. Can judges say, "don't fill it, save money?" Naw, too complicated.
