different years please, more current.
more videos
more pop cultures
more videos, less history
try to get more local comments.....
more local politics and less national a puff pieces
More local politics
Can not stand the fact that you don't allow open dialogue on your site It is the one thing that is frustating and usually takes me away from it for weeks at a time.
Its infomative as it is
Ditch comment moderation. Is Mr. Yonki a fan of Josef Stalin, because Stalin would be proud of Mr. Yonki's heavy hand.
more local politics
MORE POP CULTURE HISTORY
A little more local politics.

My cousin misses you.
The WB and Luzerne County coverage is more insightful for obvious reasons. Overall I like the direction and respect the author's integrity.

More Town Politics
Analysis of how local corruption influences politics and vice versa, considering both current charges and and longer term implications.
Don't let those with negative attitudes drag you into a funk. Stay above them.
More political commentary. Be more opinionated, more forceful. I like the way you think - let er rip once in a while.
more conservative perspective
The Blog is evolving and reflects Yonki's development as a writer and person.
Slightly better graphic.
David seems to know a lot of former newscasters. It might be interesting to check with them now and then to trade opinions on current events, how things have changed, and what has not.
Keep doing what you are doing, Mr. Yonki.
Maybe a focus on some of the better, lesser known politicians in the region that are doing good work under the radar.
Make sure Dave is never shown in his bathing suit.
More willingness to find some common ground with political ideas and movements with which you don't agree. Knee-jerk doesn't become you.
More surveys.
It looks fine to me as it is.

Get your ass on TV or Radio.
Get rid of comment moderation. There is no place in America for Nazi censorship tactics.
Please continue to add the pop culture flavor to your blog. It gives bland politics LIFE!!!
xxxxxxxoooooooxxxxxooooooooo
I don't think you have enough local politics.
Maybe add a daily countdown of the number of days since the federal corruption scandal broke in Luzerne and lackawanna counties, and offer up a countdown to the state budget deadline, T minue 15 days and counting
Don't know about the LLPL! Would like to see the people of the NE stop electing the same people decade after decade. TERM LIMITS!
less press releases--more writing

You are a damn unamerican liberal leftist socialist who is bringing this country down.
more stuff about that 7th grade girlfriend of yours.
quit whining about your stupid church

EDIT OBSCENITIES 36.6

Okay how about stop editing for content. Allow free discussion. Edit out obscenities if you must, but let your readers have a free discussion without your heavy hand of censorship. I bet you would be crying to the high heavens if a government agency or say your internet provider came in and edited your comments.

Now Herr Yonki, vill you stop editing what your readers and commenters are posting. I think the survey says it all. Let the conversation unfold. Better yet, stop moderating all together. By the time you finally approve, disapprove, and edit comments the discussion is already over.

Heil Yonki!

Yonk,

Maintain the level of civil discourse.

I don't believe you moderate or censor out ideas but personally don't feel like reading CB chatter, ghetto cliches, or locker room rants.

My preference lies with a logical, rational and lively debate. Let the "nazi" references hang out at the bulletin boards.

If you can't articulate a position why even try?

Anon 7:17. Yonki, consistently edits out ideas. It is amazing that any American would be pro-censorship. How about if one day AOL goes into Yonk's blog and makes "edits" because someone there doesn't think what Yonk wrote was "civil." Or google, which own blogger, does the same thing. Or perhaps an individual at a government agency.
If you want to have an open dialogue then you take the bad with the good, or don't have one.
And ability to articulate well in your judgement, so now you are the arbiter?
Most people according to the survey wish free exchange of ideas. If Yonk wants to edit out profanity, that is one thing, any thing else is just wrong.

While I can understand your position I don't believe Yonk has edited out "ideas". How 'bout it Yonk, do you? Hey 8:04 what do you know?

Personally, I don't care if he did or not since he has displayed a pretty liberal template of discussions and responses. More lib than I can brook but that appears to be him.

I also appreciate not having to tolerate profanity or much inanity (as defined by common acceptance) in posts and responses.

Maybe we all should aspire to a higher level of respect and debate, huh?

Americans have a right to be ***holes.

but should that be what they STRIVE for?

Are you willing to call 'em out or just let them think what they say matters?

Or worse ELECT them to govern you?

At 11:57 AM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

it is amazing how you want to restrict the rights of others to behave any way they see fit.
personally i think you are a stuff shirt. Why not take the stick out of your ass and enjoy life.
