CONNOLLY, GEISSINGER SQUARE OFF IN WYLN TV 35 DEBATE

Last night we were proud to be included on the panel for the GOP 17th District Congressional debate between Matt Connolly and Glenn Geissinger. The two squared off in a spirited but gentlemanly meeting at the WYLN Studios.
After the debate, Tiffany Cloud, moderator Gary Perna and your blog editor agreed that the two men were two strong candidates. Both had Conservative bonafides and their differences were not earth shattering. My take on it was that it is a shame that one of them will not win because both are two candidates the GOP could certainly use in a race against Cartwright.
As you know, the 17th was gerrymandered for Tim Holden who was defeated by Matt Cartwright in 2012. The district includes both population powerhouses and Democratic strongholds, the Lu and the Lac or Luzerne and Lackawanna Counties.
Here is the debate recap from Sam Galski.

I’ve also included the links of Mr. Connolly and Mr. Geissinger’s campaign.

Looks like I will be voting for a Republican for president for the first and only time in 30 years of voting.

Not sure how much it will matter, but can't wait to cast my vote for Sanders in the PA primary.
After that, I will be doing something I never thought I would do. I am going to vote for a republican for president.
Just can't bring myself to vote for Hilary Clinton. It is a visceral reaction. She is just rich white trash
