THE START OF FASCISM????
Mike Pence's running mate.
Mike Pence’s running mate had a meeting with the press the other day. He essentially called out 40 media members saying that their coverage of him was unfair. A source said that ***** started with [CNN chief] Jeff Zucker and said ‘I hate your network, everyone at CNN is a liar and you should be ashamed,’ ” the source said. “The meeting was a total disaster. The TV execs and anchors went in there thinking they would be discussing the access they would get to the ***** administration, but instead they got a *****-style dressing down,” the source added. (The Daily Wire).
Mike Pence’s running mate said that he was unhappy with a photo NBC used of him calling it unflattering. He also said that Saturday Night Live was not fair to him.
Wow! This is who bullies really are. They blame others for what they do. The ultimate bully now has the power. It is entertaining by some who think he’ is telling them off! But a press pool needs to cover the President. But Mike Pence’s running mate is only familiar with having his own way.
If this is allowed to stand, the ironic thing about this is the GOP railed against Sanders, Clinton and Obama for having a possible Socialist government. “We’re on the road to socialism” they cried.. Well it appears that Mike Pence’s Vice President is more concerned about controlling the news and bullying reporters.
Any idea of socialism was bogus to begin with and in the rearview mirror. But fascism is jest taking it baby steps. Book it.

PA. STATE LEGISLATURE NEEDS TO BE REDUCED
The State Capitol (Photo: Penn Live)
The Times Tribune/Citizen’s Voice had an editorial the other day about the impotent, ineffective and lazy State Legislature. The Legislature has not passed basic funding measures to help the unemployed. Boy the people who brought some of these leeches in on the Republican side must be so proud to have voted for Mike Pence’s running mate for President. These are a bunch of lazy, overpaid bullshitters who everybody loves in individual districts because they are nice and decent people.
Your current legislator is not bad.
But they are in a bad, glacial system that does things at the very last minute. And for that they are overpaid. The Legislature should be reduced. Here’s the take from the newspaper. Check out the link:

C'mon say it, say it just once Yonki ... His name, his name, c'mon Yonki ...
It's Trump, Trump, Trump. Don't be so childish, you're not going to change anything by not saying his name. What is, is, whether we like it or not. You're just showing how you and the rest of the Clinton lovers (right or wrong) are acting. You constantly condemn TRUMP for his actions and language. So be it, apparently he's an asshole. What the hell is this country going to be like when the guy finally does take office. Your kind scare the bejezus out of me as much as TRUMP does! AND by the way, we have voted into the office of the Presidency other assholes who we thought were dangerous. God help us and I hope we all survive both factions of this mess we're in.

David,
I am actually grateful that our Republican-led state legislature and U.S. Congress don't do much besides naming post offices. I'm terrified to think about the damage they would do to our country if the Republicans actually did what they promise their supporters each election.

A system of government marked by centralization of authority under a dictator, stringent socioeconomic controls, suppression of the opposition through terror and censorship, and typically a policy of belligerent nationalism and racism.
A political philosophy or movement based on or advocating such a system of government.
Oppressive, dictatorial control.

Obama! Where were you then Yonk?

IN RESPONSE

Now, now. This isn't hate. I can pretty much do and say anything I want because Mike Pence's running mate set the example.
It's not as if I attacked a religion, a race, a Gold Star family, made fun of a person with a disability, mocked someone with the flu, spread lies about anyone's health or denied anything that might have been on video.
No not hate but just a comment. Hate happens when you acknowledge the person as an entity and as you can see that is not happening.
Hate takes passion and actually giving a shit.
Perhaps a better word might be disdain but certainly not hate.
As for you, unlike Mike Pence's running mate, I am not mad and unhappy that you said such a mean thing to me. I want even Tweet about it.
But I will thank you for your opinion and posting.

Childish? Uh that title has always been commandeered by Mike Pence's running mate.
I know full well that we can't change the results of the election.
And I hope Mike Pence''s running mate does well. For America.
But one must never forget how this creature became President. It was by deception, bullying and lying.
Voters like me and the more than 2 million more like me who voted for Hillary knew Mike Pence's running mate was full of crap.
But now that he is President, people, especially those voters who bought it all, hook, line and sinker need to be reminded how he got here.
His economic plan will hurt single women with children.
He will eliminate the child exception. When that shit happens, people need to be reminded not how stupid they were but rather NOT to do it again.

Yonk: You are way more charitable by referring to you know who in the way you do.
I heard some select names around the dinner table last night and they weren't pretty.
