WAGNER TO HOLD TOWN MEETING IN SCRANTON TONIGHT

GOP candidate for Governor Scott Wagner will be at Lackawanna College tonight at 7pm. Admission is free and Wagner will meet with interested citizens as he crosses the state  in his effort to unseat Tom Wolf.

THANK YOU BISHOP BAMBERA
(Citizen's Voice)
It is astounding to me how many members of my faith as well as other Christian denominations who are Pro Life defend the separation of families seeking asylum at the borders. While it is important to protect the sanctity of human life, after a baby comes full term, one shouldn’t check their regard for human life at the first slap on a baby’s fanny.
The protection of children carries on to nutrition and protection from any harm. I was overjoyed to see Bishop Bambera of the Scranton Diocese say publicly that “asylum is a right to life issue”. I don’t have any expectations that the right wing zealots will stop using Pro Life as an issue to minimize the plight of the 2 year old children who are forced into court without representation, let alone their parents, to explain why they are in the United States.
But for those of us who take our religion seriously enough to go to church, not politicize it and do our best to live by the Golden Rule, it’s nice to have official word from The Bishop himself who saw things first hand at the border.

How could anyone have seen that the Great North Korean Breakthrough of 2018 would fall apart so quickly? You'd think than the NKs at least would've given Popular Voter Loser Trump the chance to campaign a bit more for his Nobel Peace Prize. Bad! Sad!
