DEMOCRAT BRIDGET MALLOY KOSIEROWSKI WINS EASILY IN 114TH SPECIAL ELECTION


Democrat Bridget Malloy Kosierowski has declared victory in the special election in the 114th District to fill the seat left vacant after State Rep. Sid Michaels Kavulich passed away in October.
Kosierowski ran against Republican Frank Scavo. Unofficial results have Kosierowski with 62.44% of the votes to Scavo’s 37.56%.
Kosierowski claimed victory in front of a room of supporters in Taylor flanked by Senator John Blake and politico Gary DeBileo. .
The new lawmaker will be sworn in next week.
